You have to be happy for the Dallas Stars.  I mean it's the first time since the year 2003 to make the second round of the NHL playoffs. Can you believe it was 1999 when the Stars won the Stanley Cup?  I like the chemistry of this team... especially when Stephane Robidas scores and adds an assist within a 52 second span in the third period to send his team to a victory.  This is a Dallas team that can go deep into the playoffs.  What's your take?

Damn right they are!! Funny how some people in the media are just now taking notice to the Stars now that they have gotten farther in the playoffs...but anyhow...I believe and GO STARS!!

Lec and I are the only two who ever comment about the Dalas Stars and we're both season ticket holders. For some reason hockey hasn't created a stir here like in Canada.

If we get by Calgary or San Jose or Colorado (looks like it could be the Sharks) our big test would be the reviled Detroit Red Wings.

I do like our team a lot but one thing we do lack is consistency at times. B-rad Richards really needs to gel and earn his 7.2 million, and Modano, though a few skateds from retirement, needs a burst of playoff skills. Defensively, we did great against the defending champion Ducks, but we have to hammer some bodies, and let 'em know we're there. Minimize the turnovers and get people in front of their net. Finally, control the puck!

Dang, I'm ready for some hockey! Go Stars!

I couldn't agree more Scotty! Seems like the other night we weren't playing as aggresively as the Ducks were but still inked our way to a win. The second round is going to be harder and we need to address these issues. Otherwise, I still "believe" we will do well.

B-Rich needs to step up big time. Hagman does a much better job than B-Rich for a fraction of the money.

We play the San Jose Sharks Friday night at 9pm our time...in San Jose. The game is on Versus.

Sunday we play at 8pm on My 27.
