The Cowboys were really impressive in their victory over the Browns on opening.  The most impressive elements of the win?

---The offensive line.  Tony Romo was hardly touched.  Unfortunately for him,  one of the few times he was hit,  it resulted in a cut to the chin that needed 13 stitches.

---Romo's efficency.  His numbers were very solid (an 11th career 300 yard game.  But his demeanor on the field showed that his offseason work with Jason Garrett has paid off.  He stood taller and more calmly in the pocket.  Better mechanics resulted in even better accuracy.  Obviously,  a blitzing Eagle defense could change all that next week.

---Defensive pressure.  Derek Anderson was sacked only once,  but the Cowboys managed to take him out of his rythm quite often.  Cleveland was far from sharp, with plenty of unforced errors on offense.  But credit the Dallas "D" with holding a once potent Cleveland air attack to 114 yards.

Up next,  the Eagles..and a week where the headline story will revolve around Marion Barber's sore ribs.  Will he play next week?   More tomorrow from Valley Ranch.

The Eagles will be a true test, for sure !

If McNabb stays healthy, they are going to be extra hard for anyone to beat.
522 total yards of offense is hard to do, even if it was against the Rams.

They better find a way to pressure him, if they expect to win !

The proponderance of the evidence points towards your proclivity to talk out of both sides of your mouth about local pro teams.

The day after you're usually backtracking.

And you suck at covering hockey.

Just being honest. Chip defended you as a nice guy so I'll take his word for it, but when it comes to sports uyou come across as pissed because you have to cover them.

It is pretty arrogant to talk about the Superbowl after one game....and against the Browns for god's sake. Let's see what happens around December shall we?

Right now you mean? Or during the hockey season?

In my opinion, there's no sense talking about the Super Bowl until the ref shoots the pistol at the NFC Championship game and your team is on the winning end.

Yes sir!!! One in the books and one start under his belt. The young buck did a great job.

Even though no one gives a decomposed Tazmanian Devils behind about the Packers, you have at least one Packerbacker in the bunch. :D

I'm talkin superbowl here, we're goin all the way undefeated!! LOL!!!

What do you think of my optimism Scotty?

Yeah, I had a whole pound of swiss cheese and i'm flying high. LOL! J/k

I was cheering the Packers along as well. Don't you think those Patriot fans were also thinking Super Bowl...until Brady went down?

Haha, yeah. I've been thinking superbowl for at least the past decade. Gotten a bit close a couple of times but no ciggar.

I sure hope Rodgers doesn't go down though. The Cowboys need to take it easy on my boy Rodgers in week 3. Those guys can be brutal.
