Your job is getting harder and, the pay is getting smaller. Kids are growing up, car payment due, can I make it to the bank in time to cover that last check I wrote? Will there even be enough money in my other account to even transfer over to this account. That's what everyone is saying these days. But, every now and again, you may just want to sit back and just remember certain times when things were simple. Remember before there were PC's or Internet? Remember the times before the simi- automatic weapons and crack? Before Play Station,or even Atari. The time before Cell Phones,CD's,DVD's, VoiceMail or E-mails. Do you remember the times you used to play hide and seek at dusk? You remember Red Light Green Light,Red Rover Red Rover, or just playing a game of kick ball on a sunday afternoon in the niegborhood, until the street light came on, this was a signal telling you it was time to go home. Do you remember London Bridge, Ring Around The Rosie? What about Hot Potatoe or Hop Scotch or just jumping rope? Do you remember Duck Duck Goose or Your It. Remember when your parents used to yell for you to come home? This was before pagers and cell phones. Remember, Mother May I, Hula Hooping or just lying on your back looking up in the sky and seeing shapes in clouds. Do you remember when we used to have those endless, hot summer days and, those cool summer nights? Having no air conditioner, sleeping with the windows up. And the sounds the crickets made. Remember the box of cereal with the prize in the bottom of it? Remember the Ice Pop's? The ones with 2 sticks so you could share with a friend? Remember how you used to sit around on saturday morning and watch cartoons? Fat Albert,Road Runner,Smurf's,He-Man, School House Rock. You just couldn't wait for sunday to get there. Then that's when you watched, The 3 Stooge's, Abbott and Costello, Any Hardy, Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin movies. Remember when "Fonzie" was the cooliest white guy on TV? Do you remember catching lighting bugs, and putting them in a jar? Remember you first day at school in your new shoe's? Remember bedtime prayers and goodnight kisses? Remember when having a 13"black and whiteTV in your room ment you were rich? Remember when work ment taking out the trash or washing the dishes or cutting the yard? Do you remember your first kiss? I mean the one where you have you mouth closed and your eyes open. Remember when red kool-aid was the drink of the summer? Remember giving your friend a ride on the handle bars of your bicycle? Remember when a Quarter for allowence seemed fair and 2 ment you were rich? Remember when a parent could discipline any kid, or feed them,or had them help carry groceries home and no one thought a thing about it. Do you remember any of those times? Those are times to remember. When it seems like everything is just going wrong an nothing is going right.
