Well me and my hubby had our 29 year anniversary yesterday. I dont know who is supose to get the BIG reward, me or him? HEHE! Did you ever notice that there isnt very many couples that make it over a few years? I think sometimes people dont take their  vowels very seriously. I admit, we have had a lot of bumps along the road, but in the end its worth thae wait.

On Thursday, I took a bus load of Senior CItizens to the fair and was amazes how many police officers were there. I felt VERY safe and would like to give them a special Thanks from all of us. We had a great time, but the only thing that was bad was the prices. It would be nice on Senior Day, Thursday they would consider some kind of discounts for them. Maybe some i/2 price stuff or something. Other than that like I said, we had a great time.

Blogger conservativewhiteboy had a great comment about baggy pants. One cant run well holding something heavy in one hand and their pants in the other.  I'm 52 and I'm thing to remember the ridiculous fashion statements we made in our teens and what ever years. I remember bell bottoms and hip huggers, Our parents hated them and the trend passes. I know this will too, but in the mean time, who really wants to see some ones nasty draws hanging out of some ones pants. I just whish  they would fall done and maybe they would fell silly and grab a belt. My husband wants to grab a dart gun and shoot them in the butt when he sees them. Who knows, It might work.  All things do past, but God only knows what will be next!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it my imagination or is everyone gone suing crazy? Every time you turn around some one is suing some one for something. I had a friend (the NUT) that was a suing fool. He would step off the curb and fall and act like he was hit by a commercial truck as they would pass and sue them and win. The last time he tried that, he got too close to the truck and it nearly killed him. Served him right! I don’t think he tried that anymore.

I know we are all getting tired of the rain. but just remember a few months ago we were begging for rain. Keep believing and knowing it will stop. It is great that at least on the Forth of July we should not have too many fires due to dry brittle grass. So remember, behind every dark cloud, there is a silver lining. The rain has washed a lot of the pollutions away and we can breath better. It want be long until we get those dry HOT days so enjoy this while we can.

Well tomorrow is my Grandaughter Savannah 2nd Birthday. If you would like to send her a birthday wish, please do so and I am  putting a special book together for her. As you know she was born 13 weeks early and weighed 1 lb and 8 ozs. Today she is a strong healthy 20 lb spirited little girl. I thank God daily for bringing her this far and I know she has a very special future in store for her. Thanks for you input.

My granddaughter Savannah will be 2 years old June 4th. She is a living miricle. When she was born, she was 13 weeks early. She weighed 1 lb and 8 ozs. She was the smallest breathing thing I have ever seem. At first the doctors did not know how she would be, but she took off and the doctors were amazed at her progress. Every day she grew and got bigger and better. She stayed in NICU 1/2 the time she was supose to and came home a very healthly baby. Since she has come home there has not been anything wrong with her. She now weighs around 20 - 25 lbs. Thank God and the wonderful doctors and nurses at Baylor Allsaints Hospital. Miricles DO happen!

Like I have reported, I work for a senior services center. Each year we have a fund raise called "Casino Night". We have a lot of  fun and the tickets only cast $10.00  and out of it you will recieve a dinner at the center catered in by Vance Godbys and $2500 play money to play casino games with. After a few hours of playing, we have an auction of prizes donated by local merchants. If any one is interested, call 817-246-6619. All the proceeds will benefit the senior citizens meal program. It will be June 29 at 5:30 p.m. Hope to see you there.

ZIPLOC OMELET

(This works great !!! Good for when all your family is together.
The best part is that no one has to wait for their special omelet
!!!)

Have guests write their name on a quart-size Ziploc freezer bag
with permanent marker.

Crack 2 eggs (large or extra-large) into the bag (not more than 2)
shake to combine them.

Put out a variety of ingredients such as: cheeses, ham, onion,
green pepper, tomato, hash browns, salsa, etc.

Each guest adds prepared ingredients of choice to their bag (make
sure to get the air out of the bag and zip it up)! and then shake.

Place the bags into rolling, boiling water for exactly
13 minutes. You can usually cook 6-8 omelets in a large pot. For
more , make another pot of boiling water.

Open the bags and the omelet will roll out easily. Be
prepared for everyone to be amazed.

Nice to serve with fresh fruit and coffee cake;
everyone gets involved in the process and a great conversation
piece.

Imagine having these ready the night before, and
putting the bag in boiling water while you get ready. And in 13
minutes, you got a nice omelette for a quick breakfast!!!
