The Federal Reserve is refusing to identify the recipients of almost $2 trillion of emergency loans from American taxpayers or the troubled assets the central bank is accepting as collateral.
Fed Chairman Ben S. Bernanke and Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson said in September they would comply with congressional demands for transparency in a $700 billion bailout of the banking system.
Two months later, as the Fed lends far more than that in separate rescue programs that didn't require approval by Congress, Americans have no idea where the money is going or what securities the banks are pledging in return.

Isn’t that interesting? They promised to be transparent on the $700Billion Rescue, but had their fingers crossed, about the “special bailout programs ( plural ) they intended to create.
They knew they could by-pass Congress and did.
Now they refuse to disclose who got the money.
Taxpayers are on the hook for all of it.
Once again Congress capitulated and allowed “Emergency Legislation” to pass without reading the fine print.
Sec. of the United States Treasury Henry Paulson, told them “This is not the time for regulations”. I sat in my living room watching it on TV and thought, "If you are going to do this, then be sure there are plenty of regulations." I called all my US Congressional representatives and voiced my concerns. [having done research on the genesis of these loans, read transcripts, watched C-span when Paulson begged Congressional Committees for the very loans that caused the problem (no restrictions he insisted were needed). I also had been emailing them with that information and my concerns). What happened was no surprize to me. Over a year ago, I was telling people the market would fall. ]
Once again, in panic mode Congress has abdicated it’s roll & responsibility to “oversee" (read) legislation.
What will they do now? Fix it immediately before this Economic Coup continues another day? Don’t kid yourself folks, this is an economic coup and a big one!
I phoned every one of our, U.S. Congressional Representatives today and spoke with their office staffs. Not one of them could tell me what the “loop hole” was that has allowed this $2 Trillion excape clause.
Most mentioned it was “ a massive piece of legislation.” Was I suppose to feel sorry for them? I thought, that is nothing new, that is why you have a staff, to go through these bills. It is your job to protect us, to make sure things like this don't happen.
To my dismay , not one of them said they were engaged in an investigation, to find the loop hole. One office said they were trying to call a "lame duck session". I experienced a nanosecond of hope. In the next breath I was told it would be up to the democratic majority to determine, the agenda for any session thus they doubted it would be addressed.
Bloomberg news has filed a federal lawsuit. Thank you Bloomberg News! It has also ask for details under the Freedom of Information Act. Who ever spearheaded that action on Nov. 7th, needs to have our gratitude.
If we are silent on the one, We The People, are going to get exactly what we deserve. When people allow this to happen and do nothing to stop it, we have basically given our government and control of our lives over to those who are willing to take it. We become slaves to the power elite.
Are we going to be passive on this? Do you believe the promises of no tax hikes? How can you? Who is going to pay for all of this? Do you realize foreign governments hold our debt? Do you understand that our fiat system bad as it is, is being pillaged?
This is like a pyramid scheme, those who get it first obtain wealth. It is obvious that there are too few, if any regulations, and oversight is blind, deaf and dumb.
Why do we not hear our various leaders on Capitol Hill, shouting about this on every media outlet? The silence is deafening ! They all knew about the article, they all knew they had been had. More importantly they knew we the tax payers were on the hook for the $2 Trillion, "separate rescue programs that didn't require approval by Congress". This is in additon to the bail outs Congress OK'd that continues to grow.
Will you pick up the phone and DEMAND an immediate halt to this? Demand Sec. of the Treasury Paulson be fired . Demand these "bailout loans be reversed".
Will you Demand that your Congressional Senators & Congressmen, stop everything come back to Washington and investigate to find the loop holes? What will you do? Have we given up on our great system of government? Evil prevails when good men and women do nothing.
So taxpayers, how does it feel to have “Taxation without Representation”?
Will you step up to the plate and demand representation?

What happens when poll workers see a pattern and begin to question the next ones.... Do they act offended? Go from the calm demeanor to being insulted/offended and charge "racism? "

Today a story was posted purporting to be from the CNN web site. It was about the wildfires in California. It turns out to be a fake story from a HOAX website. The story claimed to have received information from a radical Hispanic group claiming they started the fires. Within myfox site I posted this 'story' not knowing it was a hoax. I am sorry for not discovering the fraud sooner. Please accept my apology.
It angers me someone would go to all the trouble to create a fake web site and news story. I am told the search is on to route them out that the authorities are taking it seriously, as I do. That is some small comfort. The group mentioned in the ‘story’ is real. I encourage you to google Aztlan and MECha. Go to their web sites to see what they are about. Go to youTube and watch clips.
My position is Pro Legal immigration. Some may inaccurately think that means I have a problem with cultures or races. Nothing could be further from the truth. Over my life time we have had dear friends from many countries. They came here Legally. Those that come legally have contributed greatly to make this Nation what it is
We live side by side and enjoy the same freedoms. Fly one flag.. We are all Americans with our loyalty to the United States of America. The color of the skin does not matter. All loyalty to the country of origin is renounced when one becomes a citizen. This is a Nation rich in no small part because of Legal immigrants.
How dare those coming here illegally use civil rights as their banner/cover for illegal activity. How dare them steal and besmirch the word "immigrant" when referring to their unlawful and disrespectful actions. Those people have done nothing to earn the deep respect that goes with the word Immigrant. Immigrants are honored neighbors, family members, co workers. They are contributing members of our communities and Nation. They have honored this Country by their sacrifices to come here. They have waited patiently no matter their circumstances. They have undergone background checks, health checks and so much more to become a part of the United States. Immigrants must never be confused with those who stand and demand citizenship while flying flags of other nations. They are not the same at all.
