So George Bush is at it again right.. he's gotten out his "Tornado-maker machine" in honor of the Queen's arrival, I suppose?!.. Oddly, I haven't heard any stories of looting or rapes or murders in Greensburg, Kansas yet. I guess they just aren't reporting it?!?!?!.. All I've seen is peaceful prayers and folks just thankful and happy to be alive and to hold their loved ones. Where is the violence that was excused in New Orleans because the people were dealing with "tragedy and loss"? You mean to tell me these folks stand up, band together and move on with God in their heart and love for one another?
You're d*mn right they do. Even with help offered, every single one of those folks will make it on their own. They'll stand back up on their own feet, and do what needs to be done because they'll CHOOSE to.  Not one of them will turn against each other or blame others for their situation. They'll turn to each other and to God to get them through. I will help these folks because they don't ask for it, they don't expect it and they will appreciate it. God Bless them all.

Very well said. :)
Part of the problem (to call it that..) is that there might be more conservatives in Kansas (do it yourself attitude) instead of liberals (who's gonna do it for me? attitude). You'd think Jackson and Sharpton would show up, if for no other reason than to find a TV camera?? Guess their still in N.O. looking for money to line their pockets with? Protesting 'words' and other useless things?
God bless Kansas, indeed, and may they flourish and be blessed.

Chardoney you are so right about Al and Jessie.

The people in Kansas are not looking for a hand out from the goverment. They will help their selves.

Jeepster, it has been verified as FACT that each of those folks was sent their by President Bush to scarf up as much good stuff as they could get. They'll be on E-Bay shortly and "W" accepts PayPal.

(Thought I'd get that in there before txhankie saw it)

A few years ago, when we lived in Amarillo, there was a tornado in Happy. It is a very small town south of Amarillo. Right after that, some men showed up with semi trailers, and said the people were free to store what was left of their belongings in the trsilers. What a wonderful gesture of help ! Once the trailers were loaded, they disappeared into the night, along with everything in the world these people owned. This is looting on a massive scale. Talk about a bunch of low-lifes !!! The scum always seem to figure a way to cheat, lie, and steal.
