Funny to me that Quincy Carter has become "a Bill Parcells guy."

Quincy had a try out with Miami, where Parcells landed as the personnel guy after his unsuccessful run in Dallas.

Parcells' coach, Tony Sparano, confirmed the team had a "look-see" with Quincy on Thursday.

Of course, I'm glad for that opportunity.

But here's what's funny. My friends and co-workers have heard my definition of Parcells guy too many times. It is "a guy who once played for Parcells and who is over 30."

Jason Ferguson is there in Miami to get a shot; Terry Glenn could be in the mix. I'll spare you the list of Parcells guys who came through Dallas.

     That's Quincy now.

Best of luck to you, Q, if you're reading this. I look forward to talking with you soon-- football or not.

I'm glad Parcells finally found his way out of Dallas. This game must have completely passed him by if he thinks Quincy is the answer in Miami, and he might as well give a tryout to all the arena league quarterbacks. Heck, the Dallas Diamonds quarterback is free right now, and I'm sure she'd love the opportunity.

There you go CBfan. Quincey is making a come back. He'll be replacing Romo as the Cowboys QB and he'll take them all the way to an outstanding 2-14 record. LOL!!!!!
I'm telling ya, Quincey for league MVP!!

Go Packers!!!!!

MVP? Does that stand for most vile performance? I believe Green Bay is in need of a backup quarterback. I wonder if Quincy likes 30 below.

haha, Bart Starr is the Green Bay back up QB. He's only 99 years old but can still throw a spiral like Quincey never could. LOL!!

We could use some professional cheerleaders though. You think he'd look good in green and gold spandex?

Thanks for that mental image. And really, is being able to throw a spiral that important for a quarterback? LOL

My boy Favre. Well honestly, I don't think he should have retired but rather played another year. I knew it would be tough to stay away after being a part of football for so long.

The Pack is young and needs a young buck to grow with them. I believe Aaron Rodgers is the man and Brett needs to stay in retirement and go hunting or play some golf and watch his former team from the sidelines.

Love the dude but since he decided to call it quits, the team moved on and I think its time for him to hang up the cleats. Or give them to me and I'll hang them up on my wall along with his Hancock High, Southern Miss, Atlanta Falcons and Greenbay autographed jerseys that hang on my wall complementing my foyer. :)

Yes, the Packer Backer is still here. What's football without a little contraversy or the oposition to do a little smack talking with?

Cowboy fans, stand down and watch the Pack dominate the game. Soon you will be cheering for the Pack too. I will welcome you with open arms. Come on now, deep down inside everyones heart is made of cheese.
