Adam Jones in an agility drill at Cowboys training camp.

How shocking was the Cowboys preseason loss in San Diego?

Very shocking, right?

No, not really. At halftime, Jerry even talked about the turnovers that put them team in a hole. The 'Boys never recovered.

We had some positives, Wade Phillips declared. But a Super Bowl-bound team has to have the basics accomplished. Read: no turnovers.

"We will get better," Jones said.

Bradie James said: "We have to talk about, as a defensive unit, not to let quick scores happen. it's kind of tough to see what we have on the defensive side of the ball."

Adam Jones said all along, in his second preseason game, he will judge how close he is to being an impact player again.

That's what the entire team has to be thinking.

We'll have to wait til next Saturday to see, but what's your take?

I'm not a bit worried.

1. It's pre-season.

2. SD is my home and I also love the SD Chargers.

3. It's pre-season. lol

I'm with scotty. Too many people make a big deal out the first game and think they can predict the season.

My take, Romo went 3 for 3, Barber and Felix ran like mad men and the starting defense looked awesome. Looks like the Cowboys should be the NFC champs to me.

I hope so, CB, but there are always injuries to be wary of. One injury can derail an entire season.

I'm not worried about much with the Cowboys save for the special teams. We'll see what happens next week with them.

Come on guys, have you seen the Cowboys schedule? They should go undefeated this season, well except for the loss they will take at Lambeau. Other than that, it's clear sailing to the NFC Championship.

As much as I hate the Boys these dudes are a unstopable powerhouse and I see no reason why they shouldn't hit the top spot this season. Injuries, Dallas has one of the biggest if not the biggest line in the NFL, I don't think Romo will get sacked this year.

All great players, this really sucks for me. I'm going to get so verbally abused this year.
:(

Go Packers!! Come on Arron, show em what you got. Tonight is you night to shine!!!

it's better to lose the first one and win the last one

cowboys peaked too early last year , the green bay game was their best but there ain't no mid-season trophy

Hey Dallas47, ma boy Rodgers didn't do too bad last night. He may turn out to be something with a few more starts under his belt.

Jessica huh, she will be at every game cheering for Romo and he'll throw 5 ints per game because of her. Jessica is a cheesehead good luck charm.

LOL@Packerbacker! I'm not going to put Rodgers down cause I played high school football and I know full well what any Football player has to go through, even more so for Professional Football. But,I will tell you this, that when our Cowboys meet up with your Cheeseheads that it'll be one hell of a game, win or loose we'll still be the best in the league.

Nita it's simple! There's an acute rivalry between the Cowboys and Green Bay. Go Cowboys.

Well Nita, that game also is going to be interesting being as ex-University of Hawaii QB Colt Brennan is now a Washington Redskin. There's a lot of people back in Hawaii that are proud of what he's accomplished, while at the U of H.
