One would think that we are all getting rich off this "rebate"...

All I hear lately on here and at work is "have you gotten your money? have you? huh, huh?"

It is coming!!! Chill out!!

LOL. Not to worry about me POV, I got mine!! I got gas, groceries, highlights, my professional license, and 2 bags of frozen peas. It's blown now!

I think people are just so strapped right now, that every little bit makes a difference. So, I don't begrudge them but I don't know why there has to be so many repetitive blogs about it.

I musta missed that blog(s). If the economy OR my personal wellbeing depended on government doing anything, I'd be in desperate straights. But, being that I'm a conservative, it has no effect. Yea, me! :))

Funny cartoon :) I can not believe that people have gotten so selfish. Way to bring MORE negativity into the world PVO. People will not quit talking about it because they need it, and in case you have not noticed people are losing "faith" in the goverments word these days. I hope that if less than $1000 is ever that important to you that you receive a warmer response. WAKE UP, the economy is going down the tube and I do not see anyone smart enough in Washington now, or next Jan., who has all the facts to give the iron clad strategy that we need. So all you "conservatives" out there may want to buckle in. It is going to be a long ride and you may end up relating to some of these people you seem to feel are too childish to be taken seriuosly. Take a look in the mirror... you are part of the problem. I feel like regualr citizens do not have a say in things that directly effect them. What do you think? Before anyone mentions it, not everyone has the money, time, or resources to stay informed and be as active as they want. When people get involved what percentage of the news we see or hear is true or even relative to resolutions? I didn't mean to go all into that... I just wanted to say the cartoon was funny. :) I just wish people would try being more compassionate and helpful. You know, give the bashing and one uping eachother a rest for a little while and see how it goes. Alright I'm off my soap box. Go green and RRR

1. People shouldn't have "faith" in government. Government will always let you down. Helloooo.
2. So you bash conservatives, humm. What is YOUR solution? Bigger government meeting all your needs? They've tried that in Cuba, communist China, Russia....... never works. Government, by default, ONLY works when it allows individuals the freedom to take care of themselves or fail. Work for what you want, self achievement; not whining and freebies stolen from those who do work.
3. Liberal ideology is the 'problem' - excepting freebies form government, i.e. YOUR neighbors to pay for your healthcare, care insurance, etc. Life is hard, it's supposed to be. Fortunately for all of us born as American citizens, we have it better than anyone else in the world.

Jn. 3:16... yes, but there's a lot more to learn once saved by grace. Like the fact that the Bible teaches CONSERVATIVE values, ideologies and principals.
