   Moderation on here as always been less that perfect, ok, it's been down right horrible.  BUT, there is a shining light, they DO appear to be TRYING.  They are starting to move posts where they belong.  They are getting rid of comments that they feel shouldn't be posted.  They definitely seem to be TRYING. 

    Opps, but it seems we didn't want FULL moderation.  We wanted everyone we didn't agree with's blogs moved, deleted, etc, but not OUR blogs.  Because as soon as the moderators move or edit or whatever a blog done by one of the people that complain the most about moderation, they complain about it!  Go Figure!

   And then like little kids, fingers get pointed (well this blog is also this way), the past get's brought up (well, so and so did a blog similar to this back in November of last year), etc.

   Blogs needs to be in the right areas.   "Chat blogs", cutesy picture blogs, comedy blogs, blogs like THIS one bashing others blogs or the people themselves, are NOT news.  They are personal entertainment. 

   And people who post non-news blogs in the news section just because they'll get more exposure than the section that they belong in, who the hell do yo think you are?  What makes you think you're more important than anyone else and just because YOU want more exposure, you think YOU should be able to break the rules and post your non-news post in the news section.  Get a life.   No one on here is more imporatant, deserves any special treatment or anything else more than anyone else on this board, except for the Fox 4 staff.

   You've been here a lot?  You post all the time?  Does that make you more important than a newbie?  No, Just means you have less of a life. 

  Once again it comes down to it.  Quit complaining about how things are moderated in here.  If you don't like it, you can always LEAVE.

Bad mood today, Phil?

Just joshin ya man...

I agree with you 100%. I will admit, I was like a lemming in here posting everything in News. I just started posting in Entertainment after I was moved last week.

Did I put up a fuss? Nope. I really didnt care.

I just enjoy blogging with everyone. If I have to do it here when I dont want to discuss "real" topics, I have no issue.

Anyhow, great post man!! Have a great week!!

I actually always have perused the entertainment section....and it's good to see more traffic in there.....the blogs there do tend to be neglected a little but mainly due to the bulk of bloggers hanging out in the news section....I have posted in NEWS and realized at the time it was hardly news worthy....so I am as guilty as the next guy.....except for the whining part....

Oh my, Phil.

I like you, buddy. But DANG, so much anger in this post, you might be taking the blogs a little too seriously.

I used to be a blog Nazi like yourself and then realized, what does it matter anyway? It doesn't.

I do prefer when people put their graphic-intensive blogs in Entertainment, but that's just because they're annoying. And it's all about pleasing me!

Anyway, I wish you'd post more, Phil. I like your firey-ness. LOL Is that a word? I don't know.

POV - Good to see ya. N, not in a bad mood, actually a good one. Though I have to go into work tonight early, just means I get out early as well. Not bad at all. Hope all is well with you and yours. Have a great week as well.

Ted - you've always been cool on here. I agree there should be more traffic in the entertainment section. And not whining, always good to hear.

Sally - Not taking blogs too seriously. Blog Nazi?!? Nah! I would think whining about a blog being moved to the correct section would be taking it too seriously. You just have to realize (not just YOU, but you as in everyone), you can't have it both ways. Either the moderators do their job, or they don't. Don't complain about them not doing anything, and then when they do (and correctly even) you complain about that. THAT's taking it a little too seriously.

Snap - Not really into giving alters the time of day, but you ARE correct.

Well, for what it's worth, Phil, I haven't seen a single person complain about the moderators not doing their job and then turning around and complaining when they DO do their job.

People, myself included, complain about piss-poor, wishy washy, one-sided moderation. There's a difference.

YOU, sir, are complaining about people complaining. LOL

And yeah, I think you are taking them seriously when you get angry over something online. You are clearly angry in this blog, sir!

One last thing, you know your MY TAKE blog (the one just below this)? Yeah, NOT news, but you put it in the News section. LOL

It makes this part seem a little silly, don't you think:

Well, IMO, you don't think you're better than everyone else. I just think you, like everyone else, posts things where most of the viewers are. Doesn't mean you need to get a life. LOL

I can't have it both ways? Why not? Gods that is SO unfair! *lol* Good blog Phil. Exposure..seriously, you want that buy yourself a .com and be a Huffington. Most of us I think, blog for the fun of it [or because you happen to have a useless B.A in Journalism and you tell your dad 'but see? I DO use it so leave me alone' - oh wait..yeah..]. You can't take it seriously....like life.

I'm a 36 year old male, married (12 years) to a wonderful, very successful wife, and have a very smart and lovely *11* year old daughter. I'm a supervisor for an international company. VERY open minded, and never afraid to speak my mind. Love all types of music, movies and TV shows. My 3 major pet peeves are CENSORSHIP (HATE it), political correctness, and people parking in the fire lanes at grocery stores (odd combination, but hey, that's me). Used to blog back in the day before they were even known as blogs or even an internet(remember BBS message boards?). Took debate and one of my best instructional speeches in debate class was "How to Commit Suicide", got an "A". (Thanks!) I'll be trying to throw my 4 cents worth in here and there when I get the chance. Doubt I'll be able to get involved as most of you are, but I have a VERY busy home and work schedule (life, as well as BLEEP, happens). Most people either love me or hate me, only a rare few are able to do both (or at least fit me inbetween). Too many people get emotional on here. Yall need to debate, agree to disagree and move on. Enough with the being children and name calling, etc. GROW UP!!!
