Lipstick on a Pig

By now we've all heard about Obama saying the phrase "lipstick on a pig". 

Of course Republicans are saying this was a slam on Palin. 

Here's the clip:



Well,   when McCain used the same phrase earlier this political season, was he referring to Palin as well?  



Of course not, he was referring to policies, just as Obama is. 

Here's the Obama comment again with another clip of McCain using the phrase at another venue.

Hah! That is sooo funny. The McCain camp tried to slam Obama for what was a political term accusing him of attacking Palin? They are so going to regret taking that stance when these videos leak out. If we don't see a statement from Palin today saying that she knows Obama was not targeting her it is so going to backfire on the McCain campaign. Gosh I love this stuff! What freakin idiots!

Obama was smart enough to know how his audience was going to react to the comment --notice his pause and grin at just the right time

And McCain was smart enough to respond in kind

Just two politicians sparring --nothing to get excited about

I'm a 36 year old male, married (12 years) to a wonderful, very successful wife, and have a very smart and lovely *11* year old daughter. I'm a supervisor for an international company. VERY open minded, and never afraid to speak my mind. Love all types of music, movies and TV shows. My 3 major pet peeves are CENSORSHIP (HATE it), political correctness, and people parking in the fire lanes at grocery stores (odd combination, but hey, that's me). Used to blog back in the day before they were even known as blogs or even an internet(remember BBS message boards?). Took debate and one of my best instructional speeches in debate class was "How to Commit Suicide", got an "A". (Thanks!) I'll be trying to throw my 4 cents worth in here and there when I get the chance. Doubt I'll be able to get involved as most of you are, but I have a VERY busy home and work schedule (life, as well as BLEEP, happens). Most people either love me or hate me, only a rare few are able to do both (or at least fit me inbetween). And I just found out I'm P.O.V.'s alter! So remember, don't blame me, I'm just POV's alter! It's ALL HIS doing.
