Officer Compton from Midlothian was released from the hospital. There was a blood drive today in Midlothian benefiting the Officers who were injured in the shooting. I heard there was a pretty good turnout. Thanks to everyone who gave blood.

I am so thankful that these brothers are all recovering. I pray that the Lord will continue to bless each one of them and thier families.

I am also thankful to all of the agencies that responded to Midlothian on that day it was such a tremendous sight to see all those different colors represented, so many different colors but they all came together because they heard the voices of those brothers that were down.

I am also thankful for you PoliceDispatcher, because it is you that we call out too, when we need assistance, I can only imagine what you guys in communications must go through when you hear that one of us have been injured, You respond and you send someone to our location. You try to keep us calm, if we are fearful because of our injury. I know that we don't say it enough but I just want to say thank you.

I am so proud....GO BLUE...

Officer Dustin Compton is my son in laws cousin. I was so happy to hear he was being released.
I am still praying for the others.
I am one of those people that give blood every few months. One pint of blood can save 3 lives! Think about it, the blood you give today could go to saving a family members life tomorrow.
Nice to see you haven't left us TLee. I take your words to heart.

Thank you so much for your kind words TLEE. I shared them with my husband and a couple of fellow dispatchers. My co workers were happy to see an officer acknowledge that dispatchers are needed and even appriciated. Thanks again.

Proud American, I am glad Dustin was released. I heard that the Sgt was released also. Yea! How great that you give blood. I think more people should. I didn't know that a pint can save 3 lives. That is awesome.
