America teaches the story of Cesar Chavez and his nonviolent movement that empowered many Latinos in America.

The headquarters of the Dallas Independent School District is located along Ross Ave. which represents a student body that is over 65% Hispanic and minority.
A historical marker for the Ross brothers is being recommended for the entrance to the West End.
