Last night, the Dallas Stars defeated the Anaheim Ducks, 4-1, advancing to the semifinals for the first time since 2003.  The way the Stars were able to put away the defending Stanley Cup champions was a refreshing sight for a city that has become way too accustomed to losing.

My question for readers is this: Do the Dallas Stars have a better chance of winning the championship than the Mavericks?

Yes they do! Even if they don't make it all the way the the Stanley Cup final they will still get farther than the Mavs will. Sorry!

I am a senior broadcast journalism major at TCU,and I am passionate about having a career in sportscasting. I love all of the major sports and this past fall I had the privilege to cover every home game for the Dallas Cowboys as an intern for CBS 19 in Tyler, Texas. I grew up in Longview,Texas and I love to watch and play all sports as well as travel. I have experience writing for the Daily Skiff, TCU's daily newspaper. I have also had the chance to cut packages for TCU News Now, the campus' daily newscast.
