Disappearing Doomsday Protestors

A little mystery is developing here at the Fairmont Hotel where John McCain and Republicans are scheduled to party tonight.  Engineer Ron Ford reports seeing about a hundred protestors "all painted up, grunge looking folks with a sign that said "Doomsday is Coming."

The problem is we can't find them now.  They circled the building and then disappeared.  Maybe they'll come back and liven things up around here.  I'm scheduled to do live shots from now until whenever and not much will happen until after the polls close and results start coming in. 

Anyway, we've lost our protestors for the time being, at least.  If we find them, we'll let you know.

Their goal is for them to FIND YOU, Rich. Then they can get TV coverage....Attention....which is what they seek.

Just look at it this way, Rich, you'll get to cover the reactions of McCain's lock on the Republican nomination. Then you can yawn and get some rest.

Rich, why are the media mislabling the second voting opportunity as caucuses when they are conventions?

Somebody should be strung up for this whole second voting/caucus mess. But then I heard conflicting reports in the media where this came from. One report said it was implemented during the Clinton Administration to lock up delegates during his second run for office. If that is the case, it has come back to bite Hillary.

By the way, I am watching a live shot of Bob Ray Sanders in Ft Worth blabbering about the election results. He has an AMTRACK sign displayed prominently over his head. Did somebody buy him a ticket to finally send him out of town on a rail?

Graywolf,
I believe caucus is the correct term. The convention happens when all the chosen delegates get together -- at the state and national level.
