Will anything sensible be done? Of course not. The American people are as devoted to the idea of sin and its punishment as they are to making money-and fighting drugs is nearly as big a business as pushing them. Since the combination of sin and money is irresistible (particularly to the professional politician), the situation will only grow worse.

Reuters OpEd by Bernd Debusmann: America's never-ending prohibition. A good piece.

You IDIOTS. You narrow minded, conditioned by government propaganda, IDIOTS. You have obviously swallowed all the governmental BS hook line and sinker. I know, KNOW that there are compounds in the cannabis plant that WILL CURE CANCER, of this I have NO doubt. I have posted blogs to this. I have stated that I will prove this under proper medical supervision, PUBLICLY. NO ONE has offered to accept my challenge, NO ONE. Yet you can sit there comfortably in your little chairs, and without the slightest clue, continue to support a government policy that condemns you to being ravaged, and killed by a disease that has a cure, that the federal government has done everything possible to keep hidden from you. I have no sympathy for you, only pitty.

I am SOOOOOO PISSSSSSSSSSED OFFFFFFF. I feel like Sean Connery in Dr. Quin, Medicine Woman. In this movie he had a line, "I have found the CURE for the plague of the 21st century, and lost if". My line would be, "I have found the CURE for the plague of the 21st century, and no one seems to care". The only person I have found, out side of the reform movement, is a doctor with the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Dallas. He called me at home, and said he would arrange for a follow up biopsy of the sites I claimed to have cured. This will happen on the 19th of August at the VA Dermatology Clinic. I will post the results of these biopsies, regardless of what they are. I, unlike the federal government, will NOT lie to you. I will in no way try to decieve you. I WILL tell you the truth.

I have tried to make you all aware of the enormity of the possibilitys for a CURE for cancer being in the compounds found in the cannabis plant. People like numbers. They can relate to numbers, they are a known quantity. Well, here are some numbers, perhaps they will help you understand how important my claim is. In 2005, 559,312 people died from cancer. If the federal government hadn't BLOCKED ALL research into the curitive properties of the compounds found in the cannabis plant, how many of those people would still be alive today? Your mother, your father, your son, daughter? Yes, the children. Numbers for the children. 10,400 new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed in children 0 to 14 in 2007. How many of them will suffer horribly, and die from the disease? Who can say? For me, if ONE child dies needlessly from cancer while a cure sets, hidden, outlawed by the federal government, it will be FAR to many. I don't like to say this, but I must get your attention. Look at your childs face, look at his, or her smiling face, see the love in their eyes. In the movie "The Crow" there is a line, "Mother is the name for GOD on the lips of all the children in the world" That is what you are to them, their ultimate protector, their ultimate hero.

Now see their face, gaunt, and pale, ravaged by a disease you cannot control. The fear in their eyes. They look up to you, the look in their eyes saying, "Help me, PLEASE", and you can do NOTHING. You CAN do something. You can demand that the federal government stop blocking research into the cancer curing properties of the cannabis plant. Do it NOW. GOD forbid you ever have to look into your childs pleading eyes, and know that if you had done something now, that look wouldn't be there. BE their ultimate protector, be the HERO they believe you to be.

Or you can set there in your little chairs, and type your pathetic blogs, and watch them DIE.

I've been waiting for two hours. It seems that by your lack of response, You CAN'T REALLY HANDLE THE TRUTH.

NO I WILL NOT. My condition. My condition is nothing compared to some child dying needlessly. It is nothing compared to the sorrow of a parent watching their child waste away, and DIE. My CONDITION, as you like to call it will NOT kill me. This has nothing to do with MY condition. It has everything to do with the federal government letting one half a million people die annualy, while a cure is being hidden by them. I see you wear your hair rather short. I hope you wear a hat when you're out in the sun. If you, and I hope you don't, ever come down with basal cell carcinoma, you have a choice. You can find a way to contact me privately, and I will tell you what to do to cure your cancer painlessly, or you can go to a doctor, and let him stick a needle in you, and cut you up like the proverbial Christmass turkey. When you have a scabbed over, occasionaly bleeding sore on you that will never heal, it will be your condition, not mine.

I agree with Ironman & this post of Rusty's. The gvt is imposing where it doesn't belong - in medicine. If cannabis helps, let them have it! It MUST be better than some synthetic that someone has developed to mimic it's good side effect.
Iron, as a cancer surivor, I applaud your efforts. Good luck with your diagnosis. (I may need that recipe for the oil again, soon. Hope not, see the oncologist this week & will let you know if I need it!)

I'm here for you GUN. I can't remember if I have posted the manner of manufacture in one of my post. I'm fairly sure I have posted the method of application. Doesn't matter, I am not afraid to do it again. Good luck, I hope it's not necessary.

You have, Iron, & if I need I'll just check your old posts.
With alcohol being such a harbinger of domestic violence, you'd think there'd be a greater outcry to outlaw it ~ oh yeah, tried that once & it didn't work.
I have an idea for everyone to try, now this will take TWO DISAGREEMENTS WITH SOMEONE SO BEWARE:
Next time you disagree with someone, smoke a doobie and let us know if you felt violent towards that person afterwards. Then, the following time you disagree with that person, down a shot of tequila ~let us know how you feel then...

LOL. I don't have that option here, so you're stuck with it :). On MY blogs I do not delete comments. If the comment is insulting, or just plain STUPID, I always let them stand. This gives people an idea of what I have to deal with in my fight to make the government end its' ban on research into medical cannabis.

GUN, go to www.phoenixtears.ca everything you need to know is there. If you have any questions feel free to e-mail them, they will answer all of your questions. Rick Simmons called me here the other day. Very enlightening conversation. They're all good people.

You seriously went ape BLEEP on everyone. I thought the blog sucked because it was a few links with no summary. I didn't feel like going through 145 links just to find out what the dude had to say.

I think they waste a lot of money on busting peaceful lazy pot heads. They aren't hurting anyone but themselves and people who expect anything from them. But for now, it is illegal. Maybe they will legalize it when Obama gets elected to soothe the over taxed masses.

Appolagies Tex. I hope they end their ban on research before any of the bloggers need it to save their lives. This is not beyond the range of possibility. When I was typing the part about the children I had tears in my eyes before I could finish. I desperately want people to realize the importance of what I have learned. So many lives are at stake. This can't continue to be ignored. So many have died needlessly. Legalization for recreation pales in comparison.
