This morning's line of strong-to-severe thunderstorms held together better than expected. We had about a dozen North Texas counties under severe weather warnings at one time or another this morning, but no significant damage was reported. A billboard was knocked over near Keller, and a semi-truck was blown over up in Sherman.
Those storms are moving into East Texas.
More storms are possible later tonight, with a situation similar to what brought the storms through here this morning. Expect severe storms to develop in the Panhandle and South Plains. Those will most east this evening and into the overnight hours, and we could see another line of storms moving through here.
Now that this morning's storms have passed, you should be able to enjoy the rest of your day outdoors. Temperatures should climb into the 80s - quite pleasant! But keep your eyes on the sky and keep checking myFOXdfw.com, as conditions could change by the hour later today.
