Severe Thunderstorm Warnings are now in effect for Montague, Jack, Palo Pinto, and Stephens counties. A line of destructive storms is currently moving into western and northern sections of North Texas packing winds of 70-80 mph. These storms are moving southeast at 50 mph. In addition to destructive straight-line winds, the line of storms will produce intense lightning, some hail, and torrential rain that will likely trigger more flash flooding. This is a dangerous situation. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is also in effect for much of North Texas until 9am. Stay tuned to FOX 4 for updates!!
