You know what bothers me about this story?
That this woman will probably be let off for the 2 warrants that she was originally arrested for because of a "whoopsie" along the arresting process.
We are becoming WAY too hypersensitive to everyone's rights as far as race, sexual orientation, economic status, ect. that we are letting wrongdoers get away with whatever they like. Sometimes we even encourage them to sue.
Other countries are rolling their eyes at The US and i, for one, am beginning to understand why.
I have a solution to this problem. School uniforms.
I was against them when I was a kid in school, but not I see how they could be useful. No kids competing to keep up with their name brand clothing or beaten up for their shoes. You cannot make fun of someone's clothing who is dressed just like you.
If your mind is on your lessons and not on your wardrobe you might actually learn something.
And I'm sorry, but whatever happened to traditionalism? Boys should wear boy clothes and girls should wear girl clothes in school until they are 18. After that, fine, where whatever you please.
Just because you have the freedom to look like an idiot in public doesn't mean you should abuse the privilege. Kids today seem to have no rules or guidelines to follow when it comes to traditional American values. I put it mostly on the parents who don't parent.
No wonder so many other countries turn their noses up at us these days. We look ridiculous.
