Right.  And I'm no longer a cynic.  The professional celebrity told Barbara Walters that she's found God behind bars and is ready to make a difference in the world. (Remember right before she went in the first time that she wanted to be a "role model" for young people.

Did she get preferential treatment? You bet.  Was it all planned from the start?  I betcha it was. Remember who her first two visitors were in jail (in Round One?)  Her lawyer and her PSYCHIATRIST.   Nice one-two punch when they go to the sheriff and ask that she be sent home early.

She told Babs, "I feel as if I'm a different person. I used to act dumb. That act is no longer cute. Now, I would like to make a difference. God has given me this new chance. Even though I in jail I feel God has released me."

I'll admit that jailhouse conversions are sometimes genuine. But now comes news that her father is shopping around a "Paris Gets Out of Jail Party" in Las Vegas.  He wants to be paid by the casino that sponsors it.  Nice.

Good luck, Paris.  We'll hang on your every word.

With the handwriting on the wall - the fact that she WAS going to get at least SOME jail time - the "legal ploy", as it were, was obviously to have her suffer some sort of mental disorder (physical would be too hard to fake) and then convince the good Sheriff to send her home with an ankle bracelet, to party....I mean.....to serve out the balance of her sentence. Mom & Dad will make a handsome contribution to the Sheriff's Rose Parade float and everything's good.

Meanwhile, the Sheriff - the highest paid elected official in the United States - is bordering on a contempt of court citation for ignoring the judge's order and letting twinkle-toes walk out the side door.

It's California....what else can you say?

Maybe Paris's new job should be to go out and PREACH with Sharpton. With his mouth and her looks, DAYUM what a team they would make.

I think she was treated differently by the sherrifs office, because she is rich. Not because she is white. Sharpton bothers me because he is always playing the race card. If it was anyone else, black or white and not rich that person would have stayed in jail. She only got sent home because she is rich.

She may or may not have found God while in jail. Her actions will soon reveal the truth. Judging from her past antics, who can say for sure ? Miracles do happen. We can only hope. I had a friend in Amarillo who spent many years in prison. He was a body guard for the mafia. His entire time in prison was spent in solitary. He was classified as a highly dangerous person. He could not be around other men. He accepted Jesus while there, and then he turned as gentle as a kitten. Miracles do happen. I wish Paris all the best.

The first time they locked her up they said she was medicated and was not having a problem being in jail. How long did they think those drugs were going to last? Very few drugs are taken once a month.

Second, if she is stopping the cute/dumb act what is that going to do to her cute/dumb TV show?

Time will tell if hse has truly found God. Most likely until she gets out and the next party invitation is opened.

Paris a new woman? Uh huh when pigs fly or Hell freezes over (which ever comes first).
A huge number of inmates find God when they are locked up.
But I guess we shall see when she is released.
Maybe perhaps she heard the song "I Shall Be Released" ;-) teehehehehehe

Paris is just saying all of those things to make herself look better... I don't think that she'll change. Her first interview with Larry King... she lied saying she never has done drugs, never had a drug addiction and never answered whether all the girls she was hanging out with priar to jail were her friends. Plain and simple... she was a liar before she went into jail... she's a liar when she got out of jail. People don't change.
