So Sick of Gas Prices

I have had it with gas prices.  I have had it with the government telling us that we are not in a reccession.  Do they think that we are stupid?  It takes 80$ to fill my automobile.  We are a one income family.  Big oil companies are making billions and we little people have to rub two pennies just to get by.  When the price of gas hits the five dollar mark.  I won't be able to do any driving.  It is a sorry state of affairs.  Well,  Just had to get that off my chest.

Recession or not, our economy sucks. The national debt is beyond out of control.

Have you seen the candidates they have laid before us?

Actually, we are stupid. The government has screwed up everything they have touched and we keep asking them to "fix" the next problem. Hell, they create the problem and then tell us we need them to fix it and we stupidly agree.

If it ain't broke don't fix it -

If it stays broke, our government caused it !

Get our government out of oil control, the oil companies would solve the problems themselves.

The oil companies are not the only entities that are getting rich.

Actually, it is the folks involved with the hedge funds that are jacking the prices up. ....and I would be willing to bet that the reason that our congress has been so impotent in addressing the issue is that they are all getting quite wealthy whilst the rest of us pay the price.

I agree with you Applewood. I don't see an end in site. I have heard that the crude oil prices will soon burst its bubble. But, If all these companies and our so called leaders are getting rich off of our pain and misery, why bother fixing something that they are profiting from. And Graywolf, your right too. Sometimes, I just want to go to Washington and scream at our current government, "YOUR FIRED" and put people in there that will work for us and not there pocket books.
