I highly suggest that anyone who hasn't yet  done so sign up at Grassfire.org.  What will all of these people do with there time once humans are shown to be less powerful than the sun or Atlantic winds?  I'm sure they will find something else to control...

From the Desk of:

The latest "computer models" from global warming scientists show that global warming will be in retreat at least until 2015.

Combined with the fact that there has been no global warming since the peak year of 1998, even Climate Alarmist scientists are being forced to recognize that we could be looking at nearly a two-decade hiatus from global warming.

For the record, here's the history of global warming back to 1940 and projected through 2015:

          1940-1974 (34 years) -- global cooling
          1975-1998 (23 years) -- global warming
1999-2015 (17 years) -- temperatures level then cool

+ + Helping you expose the hoax

Al Gore's idea that man-made global warming has created a "planetary emergency" is a hoax. But the overwhelming barrage from the media and Hollywood means you and I still have an uphill fight to stop the Al Gore tax.

Good post! The Global Warming theory that has turned into a hoax started with Marg. Thatcher.
She saw a chance to undermine the coal miners and promote nuclear power. Then it got out of hand.
Wierdos looking for a cause, anti establishment junkies, anti Americans all jumped in to promote "global warming". Added to this are throngs who saw a way to make money (enter Al Gore). Even worse, the United Nations is pumping in our U.S. taxpayer memory to fund any scientist or journalist who will tout global warming.

Exactly. You'd better not argue with them or you are obviously uneducated and hate polar bears (which mate near oil pipelines). Nuclear power would help solve our dependence on foreign oil. Good luck making that happen.

Well, the question is whether they (the global warming fanatics) will claim that this is not concerning because it was expected; just as Bush did when the latest figures indicating a decrease in jobs, productivity, and other economic signs were published.

I think that a far more logical approach is not to jump to the conclusion that global warming will inevitably be bad or that carbon dioxide emissions are the main cause or even that we as human beings are responsible for it or can change it. Rather we should focus on doing what has made us as a species so successful in the past; adapting. Rather that trying to fend off climate change; accept that we have been living in a fairly benign climate and that this is not the norm for planet Earth. We should adapt our building codes to reflect the probability of severe storms becoming stronger and more frequent; impose restrictions on building and rebuilding in flood prone areas, mandate construction techniques designed to prevent damage to structures appropriate to the area they are built in. Also, mandating standards of energy efficiency in any new construction, and when "flippers" buy a property apply lipstick and mascara and sell it for twice what they paid would make a big difference.
We need to plan for increased demand for water and the potential that local supplies may become less reliable. The Chinese "Great North South Intercept" project is the type of thing which we as a nation need to look into. Maybe connecting the Ogallala Aquifer with the Great Lakes and projects such as linking the TVA with the Georgia, Alab

Pete - adapting to hardships would make you self sufficient. It is the duty of the government to solve our problems. /sarc

Of course, Al Gorebal (or is that Al Goerring) is profiting from this alarmist hysteria. He's the P.T. Barnum of politics and there's been more than a few suckers born every day with this bunch!
