Ron Jackson showed us area lake levels earlier today. I am wondering with all the creeks and streams still having water standing in them, are lake levels still rising? We are near Lake Tawakoni, which earier today was over 11-foot below normal level. I hear from other sources that lake level has risen over 2-foot with the latest precip. This rain looks dreary and depressing; however, our pasturs, and lakes are needing this. Ron, thanks for all the great coverage on weather and lakes.

I live out at Cedar Creek Lake and our lake has risen 5 and a half feet since all this rain hit. We are still about 2 feet low. I think it is still lightly filling up from the run off of creeks and pastures.
What are you riding Texasbiker?

I live in Comanche County...we are still to low on water. I have 5 stock tanks. 4 went completely dry this last summer. The old timers around here say they have never seen these tanks go dry in more than 50 years. At this point...we have about a foot of water in them now....which we still need alot more. I love then sun after all the rain...but waiting for more rain..and hopefully soon.

I am out just east of Greenville, TX. Occasionally, we have something exciting happenning here. When something happens, be it weather, fire, sporting event, traffic jam on I-30, I will post pics. This will be fun.
