Twenty Six... but who's counting?

Punkin,

Today is the 26th anniversary of our wedding day. I am amazed how time flies. The last year has brought many great memories, and more than a couple of challenges. Regardless of whether it is feast of famine, I have been blessed to experience it all with you by my side.

No doubt the addition of Jackson to our family has changed things quite a bit.  He's like having a 60lb. toddler running around our house. Needless to say, its never a dull moment! Remember taking the family to the hill country- Jack barking as we walked down the hall of the hotel... Lattes out on the deck in Austin... Jack playing at the garden center... and the bluebonnet photos with Jack and James? The BBQ in Llanno? I guess it is about time to plan another one of those trips!

Then there was football season.  I never look forward to Friday nights as much as I did this past fall. Watching together as our son played under the lights in a real stadium was a huge thrill.

I loved our New York trip as well.  It was fun to finally get to see the city WITH YOU... and James (usually your working). That was an awesome trip. So glad we got to do it together.

There were many other wonderful moments as well, all of which were special because you were there.  I hope and pray for God's continued blessings on us this year.

Know that I love you with all my heart, and with God's blessings, I look forward to 26 more!

Ya know, I tried to get married on February 29, figureing that could save a lot on flowers, gifts, etc...

but she didn't fall for it. :)
