I'm not a huge fan of Hillary Clinton BUT, this is EXACTLY what is driving me mad about our current self-proclaimed media controllers. Who elected THEM to decide for US? And that has been going on this entire election season. There's no question that big time manipulations are being played out behind the scenes. I wise man once said "follow the money" so here's my question to all voters regardless of their views, who do you think is pulling the strings on this puppet? From Fox News.....

Sen. Hillary Clinton speaks at a rally in Dallas on Feb. 22. (function() { try { var td, img, p; if (document && document.getElementById) { td = document.getElementById('story_image'); if (td && td.getElementsByTagName) { img = td.getElementsByTagName('img')[0]; } if (img) { p = img.style.paddingLeft; img.onload = function() { img.style.paddingLeft = '1px'; setTimeout(function() { img.style.paddingLeft = p; img.onload = null; }, 0) } } } } catch (e) { } })(); or just enabling jstl so that we can just write ${bean.property} and jsp takes care of the new lines. -->
National polling firm Rasmussen Reports announced on Friday that it will stop polling people about the presidential campaign of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton because her opponent, Sen. Barack Obama, will win the Democratic nomination.

She will lose, so what is the point of expending money his investors don't want spent? This is nothing more than good business sense, not conspiracy.

It is sad how little our votes count anymore. The primaries are NOT over...nobody has won yet!
For my part I am not sure who I am going to write in on the ballot come election day.

And that's the problem. These campaigns are basically huge advertising budgets attached to what little democracy we have left. I think we need a much shorter campaign, all primaries should be on the same day no more than nine months before the general election. This long drawn out nonsense is simply devastating us as a nation and the only folks that benefit are the media and the lobbyists.

You forgot one group -- the legislators whose bank accounts are being padded by the lobbyists

The democrats work a lot like the old communist politburo; individual votes in the primaries don't count. The superdelegates were created precisely so "the party" can control who gets nominated.

Exactly, Eddie. Anyone who places one iota of trust in Obama or Hillary is a fool.

I am not getting why Obama is taking hits about his connections to a known criminal, while many in the Dem party are dealing with Soros-a man that has a record for dirty dealings on the European stock exchange? Or does the fact that it happened in Europe make this more palatable to the media?

I am a teacher, a mother and wife and I like to think I am a pretty good citizen. I read ALOT. I also write a good deal on various blogs. I appreciate a chance to respond to what we see in the news. I think that by posting our opinions we can probably find that everyone is more alike than we are willing to admit. Face it, people just like to argue. I would also like to say how much I appreciate having a forum for my views.
