I could go on and try to put this column in a synopsis, but frankly, all of it is too important and too accurate to leave out one single word. So please, go and read this. Understand that the historic stance of liberals against nuclear, hydroelectric, coal and oil generation of energy has by and large created the situation we are in right now. And also understand that with a wildly liberal Congress in place and a very liberal president, we will be driving ourselves into Third World status in ten years if action isn't taken as soon as possible. If you don't believe it consider the precipitous drop of oil futures just on the threat of domestic American drilling.

It was on American Spectator and entitled "Shut Up And Produce Some Oil" by Pete Ferrara and posted today. Evidently, the website it currently down or hackers have gotten upset again and decided to mess it up. I would suggest that you try to get to that website article. I will try to fix the link when the domain is back.

Can't get it, but hey, we're doomed economically.

I never could understand why such a great and powerful country like ours didn't figure in end time events.

It never dawned on me that we died economically and were no longer a superpower.

Like a skier on glare ice, we're out of control nowadays.

I am a teacher, a mother and wife and I like to think I am a pretty good citizen. I read ALOT. I also write a good deal on various blogs. I appreciate a chance to respond to what we see in the news. I think that by posting our opinions we can probably find that everyone is more alike than we are willing to admit. Face it, people just like to argue. I would also like to say how much I appreciate having a forum for my views.
