Say what you want about Hilary Clinton but don't call the lady dumb.   Having perused her latest healthcare plan I can honestly say that it is the best I have seen thus far.  Of course whether Hilary continues this course and ultimately make good her promise remains to be seen.    Her past history concerning healthcare initiatives is not the best out there.  Like most Democrats she has the tendency to flip/flop when it comes to major issues such as healthcare.   However, she is quick to point out that alot has changed since the good old days of Clinton prosperity and she has indeed learned much from her past mistakes.   Not an uncommon occurence in politics I'm sure and one that will continue throughout her candidacy.  Of course any plan concerning one such as healthcare in America is never going to be perfect, not everyone is going to get exactly what they want.  But hey, this one is the only one I've seen out here that has any chance of working and I for one am ready to give it a chance.

Just wanted to stop by to say Hi! Hi Reb! By the way, did you know you're like an urban legend around here?

Oh yeah, the post…I LOVE Hillary; whatever she says is fine with me.

My biggest problem with Hillary's healthcare plan is there is no accountability in place. They are putting the cart before the horse. Our system is already buckling from ER use that wasn't meant to be used for general medicine. And our public hospitals are in such a crisis that critical care is dissolving and specialty care is moving to private hospitals that don't accept non-paying, uninsured patients. I don't think doctors are going to go willingly to a system like Canada's that pays so little that paying off student loans for med school are impossible. And I don't think Americans that carry insurance are going to appreciate their share of the money being taken out of paychecks, but services dropping as is happening right now in the UK and Canada. Without knowing who is here and who is legally entitled to services FIRST, we would be writing a blank check for the entire world to come here for free medical care. We simply cannot afford it.
