Happy New Year Texas!  I trust everyone got what they were hoping for this holiday.  Oh, I forgot about that upset with the Giants that ended the season for the Cowboys.  As much as it pleased me to have them lose, I still feel a bit of empathy for the players and you guys as well.   To come this close to victory only to have the spoils taken by the Giants during the final few seconds...well damn, that's about as bad as it can get right?  So the Cowboys are out of the play-offs, big deal.  The game is over, they gave it their best, and the better team won!  Or is it?  The Cowboys might have lost dramatically, but the game is far from over!  There's still the last game in the sport to consider.   That's right Texas!  It's time for the real game of football is about to start.  The Blame game!  Every game lost has to have someone to play patsy and this game is no different.  Now, the main character to be named is the wop, Tony Romo.  Never mind that this dude was the main force in getting the team in shape to be in the play-offs.  Were it not for his dedication and extreme professionalism in the sport, not to mention the long hours and tiresome work he did to get you dude's closer than ever to being contenders you wouldn't have made it as far as you did!  For you guys to single him out as the culprit is not only wrong, but downright un-American and a BLEEP to boot!  Okay, so the guy did make a few bad plays and such, but that is standard in a game as big as this.  What about the plays that were good?  What about all those perfect throws my man Romo threw to those players closer to the goal?  What, did Romo put oil or butter in their fingers?  Did he secretely and purposefully throw the ball a bit too late for the intended receiver?  Listen,  know how bad you guys must feel, the reb feels your pain and outrage.  And, just like your creation in some benevolent spirit or "God" to explain the evils you're capable of inflicting on others of your species, it makes no sense in todays world.   True, you guys should have won this game, but the fault doesn't lie with our quarterback Tony Romo, but the team as a whole!   Just like the brother said during the conference.  This loss, although a tragedy and set back for the Cowboys, is not the fault of one man, but of a team!  A team that should have won, but got a bit too confident and lost it, and everyone on the team is to blame.

Agreed. The team lost the game. There's never been a flawless qb in the nfl. Every qb makes mistakes every now and then. Brett Favre didn't become the qb with the most int's by throwing perfect passes.

I said before, if Owens would have caught the deep pass on the left side of the field or if Crayton wouldn't have dropped the pass while he was a couple of steps ahead of the defender, this may have had a different ending.

Romo is a good qb. Not all the blame gose to this dude.

Not to mention the mental errors like false start and face mask!!! Tell me reb666, how is that Romo's fault? Only quarterback with a passer rating better than Romo is Brady. His receiver couldn't hang on to the ball but, yet it is all Romo's fault? Come on, get your fact straight!!!

Ahhh, you missed my point phoint1. I was merely stating a fact is all. I never said it was Romo's fault, did I? I remember saying it was a team effort and I think I know my own brain! As for the Superbowl, I could care less. But, if I had to go with any one team it would have to be the Packers. Patriots are too "yankee" for this gal so, GO PACKERS!
