It's a rare opportunity to be able to be a part of sports history. Some make it by being talent - some make it behind the scenes but for an average Joe (or Jolene lol), being a part of that history is an awesome thing - often only a once in a lifetime chance!
Think about it! Back to 1971 - Dallas Cowboys... How would you feel today about having BEEN THERE then? If you were there, you know what I mean! I don't want to miss a thing! THIS IS THE BEST TIME TO BE A COWBOY FAN! Bandwagon leaves in a week, folks! If you're not on board, JUMP NOW!
Open practice Wednesday was great! We hit the stadium parking lot around 2pm. Stood in line hoping we made it in time. Only the first 1000 people had a chance for autographs. The weather was not cooperating. Of course, I blame the weather guys! *wink* It got real hot and humid then, just as the autograph session started, so did the rain! That didn't stop the 1000 warriors! They said rain or shine and we meant it!!
Of course, my favorite part was being there with my son. It was his first time on the field, first autograph session, etc! Yes! We got 3. Our favorite is Walt. :)
Friday night, the Texans visited Dallas. GREAT GAME! We were back at Texas Stadium again! We got there early. (4pm *grin*) We met up with some tailgates before hitting the stadium. Preseason games are great! I posted some pictures!
I hope you are as excited about the season as I am! It's a great time to be a fan!

My favorite time of year, NFL SEASON, happens to also be my
favorite time to blog here! You guys are the coolest fans!

I miss the Cowboys and I know some of you do too! So, I have uploaded my favorite pictures from last season. These were taken by me & my family! The off-season is way 2 long for fans like me & you, right?
Well, maybe this will help get us through.
I can hardly wait to share with you this season - the last season for the Cowboys at Texas Stadium. I am stoked about sharing with you from the new stadium in 2009! That thing is off the chain!!

Hey! How 'bout that game?! It was awesome being there! The fans were loud! Megan made the jumbo! Silly me... waved back. Shoulda' had my camera ready! :)

Today's game doesn't say as much about the Cowboys as some might think. It says volumes for the fans, though! Way to go, Cowboy Fans! You guys made some SERIOUS noise today! I loved seeing all of you dressed in your garb, tailgating & toting awesome fan signs!
I had THE BEST time today. The ONLY thing that could have made it better is taking the win home with me. It wasn't a requirement for an incredible day and not having the win takes nothing away from the Fan Experience.
In fact, I feel better about the Cowboys NOW than I did before the game began. The Cowboys are contenders... don't let this one game fool any of you haters. The season is still very young and we've ALL got a long way to go before any one knows which team is the best in the League. One game of many still yet to come.
And I'll be right there with them - cheering them on!
