It's a rare opportunity to be able to be a part of sports history. Some make it by being talent - some make it behind the scenes but for an average Joe (or Jolene lol), being a part of that history is an awesome thing - often only a once in a lifetime chance!

Think about it! Back to 1971 - Dallas Cowboys... How would you feel today about having BEEN THERE then? If you were there, you know what I mean! I don't want to miss a thing! THIS IS THE BEST TIME TO BE A COWBOY FAN! Bandwagon leaves in a week, folks! If you're not on board, JUMP NOW!

Open practice Wednesday was great!  We hit the stadium parking lot around 2pm. Stood in line hoping we made it in time. Only the first 1000 people had a chance for autographs. The weather was not cooperating. Of course, I blame the weather guys! *wink* It got real hot and humid then, just as the autograph session started, so did the rain! That didn't stop the 1000 warriors! They said rain or shine and we meant it!!

Of course, my favorite part was being there with my son. It was his first time on the field, first autograph session, etc! Yes! We got 3. Our favorite is Walt. :)

Friday night, the Texans visited Dallas. GREAT GAME! We were back at Texas Stadium again! We got there early. (4pm *grin*) We met up with some tailgates before hitting the stadium. Preseason games are great! I posted some pictures!

I hope you are as excited about the season as I am! It's a great time to be a fan!

I'm not worried about the offense at all. But that defense needs to tighten up...a lot.

Hey Shelby, did you happen to see the Little League World Series yesterday! Hawai'i beat Mexico 12-3. I'm so damn proud of those kids. They were so cool and went out and gave their ALL. One of the Hawai'i boys has a kid brother that's undergoing Chemotherapy for cancer and he dedicated the game to his little brother. How cool is that?
