The Holy Bible (Authorized King James version, KJV) does make it clear that God loves sinners no matter what the sin, It also declares theend of those who practice sin not fearing the consequences.
The church is to declare what is good and what is evil. What is acceptable in God's sight and what is no.
Living a gay lifestyle is according to the Holy Bible abomination,O.T. LEVITICUS 18:22, N.T. I CORINTHIANS 6:9. The church's sovereignty is protected by the United States constitution. A church may interpret scripture, omit, scripture, or not even use scripture as a doctrine. It is a persons choice of which church they wish to fellowship with,
I minister to gay sinners as wells as "straight" sinners. Regardless of a persons sexaul orientation the truth as I believe it is undaunted and declare sin to be condemned and repented of no matter what it is. Those who do not believe as I do have in this current world the right to not believe, yet I have an obligation to love them. The love I speak of is a verb (N.T. MATTHEW 5:44). The day will come when we shall all be judged for the good we've done ,the evil and every word we've spoken. So until that day as a "Christian" I (we) are to walk in love. There are some gay people who hate me and have persecuted me when they could, but i have held no protest. There are gay churches and other churches that practice things that the KJV of the Holy Bible declares to be evil and sinful. Concerning such Jesus said "Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch."(N.T. MATTHEW 15:14)
In conclusion those who protested outside the church downtown ought to read MATTHEW 15:14 and go their way or repent and join the fellowship or a fellowship that practices the written word in context with love and patience and the spirit of Jesus Christ the savior and son of God.
Martin Luther King's dream has become reality for about 71% of the American people. We the "Black people of America" should rejoice to see the results of this election. Not because Barak Obama won, but because of those non-African Americans who voted for him and support him; who did not dispise the color of his skin.
I preach Jesus Christ and have found this election an opportunity the help heal the wounds of our elders who have suffered in the past when racial oppression was the norm in America. Wounds that have not healed because of what they believed was still the norm today.
It is true that racial prejudice still exist today, but it is obviously not as prevalent as it was forty years ago when Martin Luther King was assasinated for his part in the civil rights and economic freedom movement.
So also they who founded these United States of America would be proud if they could see the progress of the people's will to be a nation united to achieve what is fair and good for the nation as a whole.
Since Pres. Reagan the Preamble of the United states Constitution has been greatly ignored. ("We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.") I hope the change that is initiated in the next four years with President Elect Barak Obama as President of the united States of America will help reestablish the meaning of the "Preamble" and that for all Americans.
