There are many things in our constitution that protect the people of the United States. But sadly many states and others are ignoring our on constitution. Many people have not read our constitution including many lawmakers I believe. I would just like to point out a few things that are not being upheld for one reason or another.

Now long ago San Francisco passed a law banning citizens from owning guns in the city. Well, someone with more than one brain cell needs to read our constitution. Let start with the second amendment. “The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” Now that should be plan enough for anyone with an IQ over 120. But let’s take it one step further. Let’s look at Article VI just to make sure. “This Constitution, and the laws of the United States which shall be made in pursuance thereof; and all treaties made, or which shall be made, under the authority of the United States, shall be the supreme law of the land; and the judges in every state shall be bound thereby, anything in the Constitution or laws of any State to the contrary notwithstanding. The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the members of the several state legislatures, and all executive and judicial officers, both of the United States and of the several states, shall be bound by oath or affirmation, to support this Constitution.

Well I guess San Francisco doesn’t support our constitution. This doesn’t surprise me one bit. If you have time read our constitution, you may find other good stuff. There is plenty more I could write about but try to find a few by yourself.

and I think many of the Supreme Judges (don't you wonder if they chose that title themselves?!) ignore it too! Looking to other countries to decided LAW HERE? Insanity of the worst kind.

And yes, those anti gun zealots chose to ignore the Constitution or say it means something else. And IF they read the Const. they would see the Fed. Gov. doesn't have the right to do 3/4th of the things it does!!!

Alot of unconstitutional rulings come out of the 9th circuit court in San Francisco. Is there any remedy for this?

Hello Ms. Chard. Let us not forget that the word Freedom was, is and is going to continue to be grossly perverted to suit needs, especially with the ACLU.

What freedoms do we really have left? And every day a new law is passed to drum up taxes or fees or
'partially' ban free speech or
'partially' ban property rights or
'partially' ban gun ownership or
'partially' shut down gun shops...........

I was born and lived in Dallas all my life. I spent 4 years in the army back in the 70s. I now own my own business here in Dallas Co. I'm proud to live in Texas and in Dallas. When I watch the news, you can bet that ninty percent comes from FoxNews. This is about up close and personal as I want to get.
