I know gas prices are hurting everyone. But maybe we can look at the bright side.

  1. Less people will be driving to and from Bars so less Drunk driving deaths.
  2. Kids will be driving less so no more hot rodding up and down the road , so fewer kids being killed in car accidents.
  3. The family will have to go home after work and school so maybe they will begin to get to know each other by spending time together.
  4. Less yard work because you can’t afford to mow the yard.
  5. People will learn how to cook because they can’t afford the gas to go out to eat.
  6. We get more exercise because we have to walk to work.
  7. Drug dealers can’t afford to fly or drive their drugs across the border.
  8. The liberals will love this, less people in National Parks, can’t afford the gas to go.
  9. Less divorces because people can’t afford not to have the second income.
  10. No more red light cameras because no one is driving up and down the streets.

Feel fee to add more if you have any.

on #8, it is bad that some people want to protect our earth? We dont' want all our trees cut down...we like to breathe, got kinda use to it over the years. It's not a matter of global warming it's a matter of protecting life. just like when you put beer in your body .. your body becomes toxic. when we put bad chit in our air...our air becomes toxic. Just my opinion tho...not worth much but it's free to you, acoolone (where did you get that name?)

I wonder how long it will be before we hear on the news that someone has hijacked a fuel truck. The bright side- when this finally happens, we can get cheaper gas on the black market.

instead of picking apart the message and messinger, how bout some intelligent discussion , why not quit electing Dems, they keep blocking our oil companies from drilling and building more refineries here, vote them out , becuz no matter what, it will take at least 20 years, to convert this country to other energy sources, so why not open this up so we can live cheaper in the meantime !!

TM, when you put beer in your body it becomes toxic? huh? If that's the case, if you put a french fry in your mouth....well nevermind.

It has always been my philosophy that if'n the "gubment" wants to put stipulations on smoking and alcohol, then they damn well better not let fat people order fried chicken......

-just sayin'............

Wonder if the cities will quit fining their residents because they didn't mow their yards, cause they couldn't afford the gas.

Hmmmmm. Let's see...

1. All the robbers would have to use bicycles,
or motorcycles, instead of cars.
2. Less road rage, because people couldn't afford to get to work, so they'd find ways to work from home.
3. More innovative ways would be found to conduct business.
4. Maybe mass transit would be improved.
5. Insurance would go down, less wrecks.

Illusionssss, I hate to tell you, but the "gubment" has already put stipulations on smoking and alcohol. Do you REALLY think that it costs $5.00 to produce a pack of cigarettes? Try about .50, the rest is tax. Same with alcohol. When they raise taxes, those are the first two things that get taxed.

Gas trucks have been hijacked. Also, thieves are now poking holes in the bottom of gas tanks to steal gas.

I know Klutzy--I order my cigs out of state so I can save 15 bucks a carton, NOT pay taxes, and screw the state. If I could do the same with alcohol, I would.

I suppose people could order fried chicken out of state too......

I was born and lived in Dallas all my life. I spent 4 years in the army back in the 70s. I now own my own business here in Dallas Co. I'm proud to live in Texas and in Dallas. When I watch the news, you can bet that ninty percent comes from FoxNews. This is about up close and personal as I want to get.
