German People say nothing New in Obama.

They came, they saw, and they left with many in Germany not impressed with Obama. Obama drew around 30,000 people in Berlin today many of whom where in there 20s. NPR radio talked with many people after the speck and found many not impressed with Obama or what he had to say.

 One Germany lady who owns a small coffee shop said it was just more speeches. She found nothing new in what he had to say and stated that nothing much would change. Another man who said he was 38 said he could care less about Obama. He went on to say he thought it was just a media thing. The best response Obama seems to be getting is from the younger people, the 18 to 25 year olds.

I THINK most of the ppl he 'drew' were there for the FREE beer, food and concert, preceding the Bamer. He sure sounded a lot like Hitler, though, didn't ya think? :]

Can someone answer a question for me? Why in the world is Obama campaigning in Germany? Why would they even care? Do any other candidates for office from around the world come here to campaign?
