Stop already with the blame game!!!!! Trust me there is enough blame to go around for everyone. Both sides of the house are at blame, people who bought a house and knew they couldn’t afford it are to blame, people who borrowed money on a high risk business are to blame, people who over spent on credit cards are to blame, crooks on Wall Street are to blame.

The fact is the American people and congress was walking around with a visa gold card stuck to their foreheads and spending like there is no tomorrow. Builders were building houses as fast as they could put them up, banks spending and leaning money as fast as they could print it.

It’s time all the madness comes to a stop. If you want a house buy one you can afford. If you need a car buy one you can afford. We Americans are just as much to blame as anyone in congress. We jump on the bandwagon just like everyone else. Now everyone is looking for someone to blame, well look no further than the mirror.

How can you people blame congress with you keep electing the same people back into office. You blame them for wanting to give Wall Street and banks 700 billion dollars. Well let me let you in on a secret. Millionaires will always take care of millionaires, just as the police take care of their own same as doctors, lawyers etc.

Then we as Americans take two idiots like Obama and McCain who we have only given an 8 % approval rate in the senate and let them run for office. SHAME ON US!!!!!!! There were many people running for the presidency that where not in the house and senate. How can we expect the people who cause the problem to fix the problem?

I hope this election is a big wake up call for all Americans, because we all lose on this one no matter who wins.

When two candidates refuse to do anything about the 25 million illegals in this country we all lose. When one candidate refuses to take our troops out of Iraq and the other one starts backtracking on his promise on when he will take them out we all lose. When both candidates support this 700 billion dollar bailout we all lose. DON’T YOU POPLE GET IT? We have the wrong people running for office and the wrong people in office!

I know it’s easy to say; well my congressman or senator is good the others are bad. Wake up, they are all bad, that’s why they only have an 8% approval rate and the reason we are in this mess. It’s not one party over the other; it’s the people in the party. Let me remind you that 95 democrats voted along with the republicans to kill this bill. Those are the PEOPLE we should be voting for, people who will stand up no matter what party they are in and vote no when it’s not good for the American people.

We as Americans are never going to be able to save this country unless we demand term limits. The two party systems are never going to work in this country and we are seeing that right now. Has anyone ever heard the term a house divided will never stand? HELLO!!!! It is a miracle we have made it this far. Just listen to what one side says about the other, and it doesn’t matter to them if it’s lies or not, they still say it.

The American people need to wake up and demand more from the people we put in office. It’s we the American people who put them in office, it’s we who pay them and by god it is we who should set the rules for these people.

All you need to do is look up the vote and see if your congressman voted for or against the bill. Mine voted against.

As soon as the measure failed yesterday, I started looking for voting records on it. It took me a little while before I found it but I did.

It amazes me how lazy we are as Americans.

1. We run up our credit to keep up with the Jones'.

2. We blame everyone else when we can't pay our bills.

3. We do not keep an eye on the government for YEARS, until it is election time.

4. During elections we only pay attention to sound bites and campaign commercials.

5. We don't do our own research to formulate our own opinions.

6. Because we don't do our own research we end up voting for the same bozos over and over again.

What's the definition of "Insane"? Performing the same action over and over again expecting different results.

I bought a house that was easily within my reach. I easily qualified for the loan on my home under the old, strict rules. My payments have been on time- forever.

I paid off my car and have no car loan.

I try to pay cash for everything except business expenses.

I live modestly, and dont ask for handouts, handups, welfare, or other assistance.

I pay my taxes.

I will blame the crooks all I want. And yes, the democrats are the ones to blame for the current "crisis".

Why isn't anyone demanding an end to Fannie and Freddie???

Because Fannie and Freddie were fine, as long as they followed the conventional lending rules that had been in place forever.

Its only since the dems put in rules making it criminal for lenders NOT to make bad loans that things got screwed up.

This is the best blog I've read in days!! I couldn't agree more.

What blows me away is there are still idiots in here married to their party. They are convienced this is all the "other" parties fault. They just doen't get it. We can vote for poop or poop. That's it. I can't even decide who stinks the most. The debate stunk last Friday and everyone thinks their guy won. I thought they both sucked. Obama sounded like Bush (uh, uh) and McCain couldn't answer the question or look at Obama.

Excellent post!!!

Neither candidate is worthy of the office when it comes right down to it.

Washington needs a total overhaul and those that were fearful of losing their positions this past vote are indicative of the fear spreading in DC.

I just hope politicians don't forget this and know that the time is ripe for a revolution again.

Hey Scotty, what sux is Washington keeps giving us our choices on who we will vote into office. Until we replace all those clowns this circle will continue.

I was born and lived in Dallas all my life. I spent 4 years in the army back in the 70s. I now own my own business here in Dallas Co. I'm proud to live in Texas and in Dallas. When I watch the news, you can bet that ninty percent comes from FoxNews. This is about up close and personal as I want to get.
