I will be so glad when the Iowa BLEEP is over and off the news and TV...
All I want to hear is what  each runner has to say, what they believe in and what they stand for, not the BLEEP they tell them to say...
And why Iowa? Has anyone down here ever been to Iowa? All i ever saw up there were cornfields, and  hogs running loose in those cornfields. Why would a small group of people up there, have the say on who might be elected?
I haven't decided on anyone yet, as so far all I have heard is the same ole BLEEP.
Please get over it!

If it's not Iowa, it'll be some other state. Election Day is Nov. 4. You've still got 10 more months. It's only going to get worse. Be patient.

I was born and raised in Iowa and just moved to Dallas about a year ago. Part of the reason that the first caucus is held in Iowa is because of Iowa’s leadership role in renewable energy, manufacturing and biosciences. Iowa is also top ranking in quality of life. Of course everyone thinks that Iowa if just cornfields and animals but it's much more then that. Where I am from (Okoboji, IA) is like a hidded gem of the midwest, you would be pleasantly surprised if you would ever visit. What is it about Texas that makes it so great, that it's big? The traffic and driver's are about that worst I've seen, to go anywhere you have to drive at least a half hour, people are rude, and anywhere you go is crowded, and the crime rate is not so well either I would never want to raise a family here. In Dallas I have maybe met a small handful of people that are genuine and would give you the shirt of their back, but in Iowa that's what 95% of the people are like and you don't ever have to worry about one of your children walking to school or friends house because it is such a safe and wonderful place to live. My family doesn't even lock our house or our cars, hell we even leave the keys in the car because you can trust people. I just had to defend my home state because it is truly a beautiful place, even the sunsets and sunrises are more beautiful then you will ever see here. That's my 2 cents.

Iowa_girl, you forgot to mention the bitter cold and the 12 ft. snow drifts that form against your house so that you can't even open the door.

Babysister, I rewrote a blog, in the political section, about Iowa, in humorus fashion.

Check it out !

I agree with your thoughts, we've heard enough about which dummy is going to rule next anyway.
