Please give me a break ! This mother who deceived, to win a contest for Hannah Montana tickets.
Now Fox has a video of her apologizing for helping her daughter write a lie!
Are we now supposed to feel sorry for her?
I feel sorry for her daughter yes, to have a mother that, thinks it was all right to deceive.
She said, if she had known it was going to cause so much trouble, she would have written another"Story" Would that have been a lie as well?+

She has had to move she says because of threats, what did she expect, when she wrote such a lie? She thought people would say, all is ok.

I saw She was on the today show, was she paid for that? I hope not, if so i hope she gave the money to a veterans group.
As my mother used to always quote, "Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive."

That mama is a weird looking freak too. It's their culture. They lie as often as they can get away with it. That should be clear to anyone by now.

It seems this woman still doesn't get the point. The point is that the essay wasn't supposed to come from HER. It was supposed to come from her daughter. It was supposed to be her daughter's work. She doesn't seem to understand that most important point.

Mom has a Lawyer..I suppose, now they will sue because the rules didn't say it was supposed to be a true story?
The Lawyer has even said we should feel sorry for her! Give me a break!
I would be hiding under a rock somewhere, but then I was taught, the difference between right and wrong.
Feel sorry for the daughter yes! I still think the mother should be arrested for fraud. Just my opinion.

She would be sticking to her guns that she did nothing wrong if it weren't for the great people that have been threatning her.

Ignorant lawyer says it's rediculous that she's had to move cause of people talking trash and threatning her. DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUHHH!!!!!! What in cornbread hell did you expect? People to say, "great job on that fake story"! Some other child got ripped off and didn't win those tickets cause of that made up story.

I didn't know you had to tell a true story, BLEEP, common sense would have told you not to make up something like that. Again, had to be a feaken mexican. BLEEP!!!! I'm gonna hide in my home for a long time, or when I go out, I'm gonna wear a bag over my head saying, "I'm ashamed of being mexican". Thanks to people like her.

I agree babysister. Throw her in jail for fraud or for looking like a fool with those painted on eyebrows.

***I hope you're joking, Packer. You are not responsible for the actions of a few within your race of people. Wasn't those eyebrows and outlined lips a doozy? Man!!

She has made herself look like a fool. Her credibility is shot and she might as well go sit down somewhere and try to regroup.

I haven't heard anyone say anything about her daddy. I mean her real daddy and not the fake one that was suppose to be killed in Iraq

The "real" daddy is probably ashamed.

She didn't violate the law, people. She did wrong and continues to plead ignorance of her wrongdoing, but truly she broke no law. I truly hope this experience finally sets in that brain of hers and that she turns from her deceptive ways.

Scotty it may not be fraud in a legal sense, but Webster's definition:

fraud
Pronunciation: \'fro?d\
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English fraude, from Anglo-French, from Latin fraud-, fraus
Date: 14th century
1 a: deceit trickery; specifically : intentional perversion of truth in order to induce another to part with something of value or to surrender a legal right b: an act of deceiving or misrepresenting

I understand that, babysister. I was a paralegal for a criminal defense attorney. But she did not violate the law or she'd have been arrested a long time ago. What she did is wrong and I agree that she continues to try to shirk her responsibility to admit her wrong. But I am saying that NO LAW has been violated, that is all.

I saw an interview and a neighbor said there is a real dad and 2 other kids!!! Poor kids!!! There was also a sister of the mom who tried to down play the deed by saying they were just writing a "Christmas Story" Huh??? How many 6 year olds can write cursive??? The "apology" read by that mom was extremely insincere...and then then the psychologist who accompanied the mom and lawyer tried to soft pedal the whole thing by saying she didn't have the "means" to purchase tickets but having the means doesn't always guarantee getting tickets..maybe the mom should spend less trying to look less Mexican and maybe she would have the "means" Her interview or rather her reading of a statement also allowed her to "poor me"..she had to move..she had to give up her MySpace...no sympathy from me.. That woman has no character and what is she teaching those kids about values? Oh wait...this is America sscam and lie.....

Only reason she is apologizing is because she hired and attourney, and Ill bet the farm she didnt have a case, and even a low down dirty attourney knows she didnt have a pot to piss in.

If you can sue for being stupid, I'll be a millionaire !

Maybe Britney Spears can become her MENTOR (as soon as she gets out) !

Makes me wonder, who wrote her forgiveness speech, I'm sure it wasn't her !

furbie, perhaps Her politically correct lawyer?
I have also been wondering if she works, or lives off the Govt. with her 3 kids.? She is from South America, does she have legal status?

I'm sure she's getting support from the gov.-

They need to revise the last verse out of the national anthem, and take out : "land of the free" - people are taking the wrong meaning from it !

I wish that there was a way to read the actual "rules of the contest"! All contests have rules that are very specific.
I think that deep down, the mother knows that what she did was really wrong.

I think that her makeup is pretty weird, too.

Packer, My very favorite friends are Mexican-American and absolutely nothing will ever change that.
