Interpretation of a Stormy Night

Mystery parades on a stormy night.
The lightning is a flare that announces his coming.
It is so powerful that tree and man alike are felled by its touch.
And man has raised his rod in protest.
The drum corps rolls out the thunder of the martial music.
The heavy rain beats upon the earth and cleans a path before him.
When the moon and stars shine out,
Mystery is in the air.
