Isn't this the same Wesley Clark who entered the 2004 race for the Presidency as a Democrat? The same Wesley Clark who withdrew after approx. 5 months and endorsed John Kerry for President. The Wesley Clark who started a political action committee (WesPAC: Securing America) and supported Democratic Party candidates in the 2006 elections. The Wesley Clark who, in 2007, endorsed Hillary Clinton for President. The Wesley Clark who, after Hillary Clinton withdrew, endorsed Barack Obama?

Don't you believe that Wesley Clark's political background might make him a little bias toward the Republican Party candidate, John McCain?

Wesley Clark is now just a political hack. He has lost all credibility as a military expert.

It sure is funny how fast some attack a military expert just because he doesn't agree with their political party.

That would be the same Wesley Clark that graduated valedictorian from West Point and was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship to the University of Oxford where he obtained a degree in PPE (Philosophy, Politics & Economics), and later graduated from the Command and General Staff College with a master's degree in military science. It's also the same Wesley Clark that served 34 years in the Army and the Department of Defense

well, what I heard is basically what is being done , they are constantly backtracking closer to the current policies, damn, they must be working, hhm, things are already winding down there, I'm not sure from what I'm hearing, if we will actually be there very long after the forst of the year, personally, I think Maliki has made a deal with Iran, and I see them (Iraqi government) not authorizing us to stay there after the January 09, so it may become a mute point, which will unfortunately strengthen Iran in the middle east , and not in our best interest !! I think the current winds here, have already made Maliki choose what it safest for Him, and it isn't depending on this country for their security !

Senator McCain has served approx. 26 years in the Senate and House and serves as the ranking member of the Senate Armed Services Committee.

Senate Armed Services Committee Jurisdiction:

Aeronautical and space activities peculiar to or primarily associated with the development of weapons systems or military operations; the common defense; the Department of Defense, the Department of the Army, the Department of the Navy, and the Department of the Air Force, generally; maintenance and operation of the Panama Canal, including administration, sanitation, and government of the Canal Zone; military research and development; national security aspects of nuclear energy; naval petroleum reserves, except those in Alaska; pay, promotion, retirement, and other benefits and privileges of members of the Armed Forces, including overseas education of civilian and military dependents; selective service system; and strategic and critical materials necessary for the common defense. Comprehensive study and review of matters relating to the common defense policy of the United States.

Now, I don't know about you and Wesley Clark, but I believe that Senator McCain's national security experience has been pretty well documented by a whole bunch of people who aren't trying to get picked as a VP candidate.

We could only be so lucky to have Gen. Wesley Clark serve as V.P.

P.S. Hillary Clinton is also a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee.

Hillary Clinton, if you remember, was not selected to be the Democratic Party nominee for President. Apparently, members of the Democratic Party either do not recognise experience when they see it or choose to ignore it.

I wonder if General Clark sees himself as an American Caesar, as did General MacArthur.

where oh where were the "Obama doesn't have the experience" crowd back in 2000 and 2004 - answer : they were voting for Dubya...twice- he wasn't qualified to run as dog catcher and you all were enthusiastic about him. LOL

In 2000,he had been the Gov. of Texas. In 2004 he was running for a second term. What has Obama been in charge of. His retoric reminds me a little too much of the last Dem. I voted for,Carter. We all know what a disaster that was.
