If the Packers don't want Favre, we'll take him here in Dallas.   But of course, he'd have to be Romo's backup. This would finally give Favre a chance to win in Texas Stadium. LOL

Seriously though, the Packers should welcome Brett with open arms. I would understand a change at the quarterback position if his abilities were in decline, but he still remains one of the elite quarterbacks in the NFL. And the last time I looked, great quarterbacks don't grow on trees.

I dont know... he has a contract for a reason. I for one, am sick of him playing 'foot in-foot out' every year with the team. Its just such an attention whoring stunt every year that doesnt do the team any good. I think if he were let in, he needs to make up his mind in September if he is going to keep playing the following year, and be held to it... none of this 'flip-flopping' crap. It really taints his character IMO.

You retired Brett, time to move on to other things, like a Brett Favre Steakhouse that doesnt go out of business maybe?

I think he just doesnt have anything better to do in his life other than play football, so he cant think of anything else to keep himself busy. IRL, he doesnt seem to be that outspoken, so I dont think the sportscaster or coaching jobs are going to be pouring in, and the sort of game he plays every summer isnt helping. I say keep him retired, and let the new guy do his thing. How fair is it to him (not to mention the whole team) for Brett to be pulling this crap? I understand the whole retainer thing... many CEO's and corporate honcho's have the same thing in their contracts. If you retire/quit, you cant just start up with another company right away for the security of the original company's secrets, if nothing else. There are usually ways you can buy your way out of such contracts, or negotiate it later on, but I dont see that happening here.
