* You're sure the Constitution explicitly guarantees the right to abortion and gay marriage, but not the right to own a handgun.

* You think Dan Quayle is the dumbest Vice-President we ever had because he believed a flash card that misspelled "potato," but think Obama is a genius despite the fact he believes we have more than 57 states.

* You'd be more upset about your favorite candidate being endorsed by the NRA than the Communist Party.

* You think the same criminals who use guns in the commission of a crime will just hand them over to comply with the law if guns are made illegal.

* You know that 86% of all income taxes are paid by the top 25% of income earners and you still feel that the rich "aren't paying their fair share of the taxes."

* You put a higher priority on oil pipelines possibly inconveniencing a few caribou than you do on lowering the price of gas for everyone in the country by drilling ANWR.

* You're worried that Osama Bin Laden might not get a fair trial if we capture him, but want George Bush thrown in prison for being too zealous in protecting us from Al-Qaeda.

* You get infuriated when you hear about the CEO of a Fortune 500 company making tens of millions of dollars, but don't see a problem with an actor, basketball player, or trial lawyer making the same amount.

* You're constantly seeing subtle, coded racism in campaign ads, but see nothing racist about blacks being promoted over more qualified white applicants because of Affirmative Action.

* You think it's obscene that oil companies are allowed to make 8.3 cents per gallon in profit with gas prices this high, but would never suggest cutting the 13 cents per gallon they pay on taxes to reduce the price of gas.

* You think George Bush is a chickenhawk because he wanted to fight in Iraq and Afghanistan despite the fact that he only served in the National Guard, but you don't think the same about Barack Obama, who has never served in the military and probably couldn't find either country on a map without help.

* You think protesting outside of abortion clinics is extremism and should be illegal, but carrying around giant puppet heads while wearing a t-shirt that compares Bush to Hitler is just exercising your First Amendment rights.

* You think the case for global warming is proven without a shadow of a doubt, but that we need another century or two worth of evidence to figure out if capitalism and free markets work better than socialism.

* You believe the best way to fix the government screwing something up in the market is with...drumroll, please...more government intervention.

* You think the first thing we should have done when Russia invaded Georgia was to take the matter to the United Nations, where Russia sits on the UN Security Council.

*thanx to willie

The Coca-Cola company is reaching out to muslims.... they are going to mark a NEW coke can, predominately, for the time being anyway, sold in islamic 'strong hold' countries.

My question - will Coke replace the polar bear at Christmas time with the Christian cross? Will the Star of David grace their cans here & in Israel?

 Don't hold your breath.

I'm glad I prefer Dr. Pepper.

Warren to Obama- "Does evil exist, and if so, do we ignore it, do we negotiate with it, do we contain it, or do we defeat it?"

So the great Obama's answer, was to find "evil" on the streets of the United States. Not in Iran, not Cuba or China. Not al qaeda, not radical, murdering islamic terrorist, not the evil men who flew into the Twin Towers . . . but the U.S. is the big offender in Obama's world.
He continued by saying he saw evil from parents who "viciously abuse their children". Yet this same great thinker doesn't see the EVIL he perpetrates on innocent, human life by his radical abortion views. Condemning a baby who survived a botched abortion to tossed aside and left to die, is acceptable in the Obama World. Abortion is accepted; partial birth abortion (sucking the brain out of a living baby) is acceptable. What is more viciously abusive than that, pray tell?

But no, the great Obama does not view that as the very definition of evil.

As he stumble for a thought, he added that we Americans will not be able to eradicate evil from the world. Well, of course, not Not with your attitude, Barrack Hussein Obama. Abandoning the war against terror (or any other war) is certainly NO victory, now is it.

Then he bashes American again by saying we need "humility in confronting evil". Humility? Name ONE war, Sen. Obama, that was WON BY HUMILITY. Strength wins. The greater force always WINS. It always has! Not humility . . . and certainly not surrendering.

You do not apologize to "evil." You fight it; you defeat it. But to defeat, you must first be able to recognize what it is. Obama is also sadly lack in the recognition department. The kindest thing I can say about Obama is that he's ignorant. I wouldn't want to have to count on him defending children, and certainly not the ones who survive a botched abortion. Nor would I count on him defending my country against terrorist, illegals or a swarm of gnats.

He'd negotiate and apologize for how badly America is "perceived" in his Obama world.

Vandals defaced a political sign in an upcoming Florida election - making the would be Judge, Robert Williams, into 'the Joker'.  Williams kept his sensor of humor and said, "You really have to get a chuckle out of it".  But these signs are very expensive and the police will consider this a "criminal matter".

What happened was legally & ethically wrong, of course.  The response by Robert Williams was most commendable.  But it made me wonder - what would either Presidential candidate say, had it been HIS FACE made a mockery of?  I can imagine Obama would be, once again, screaming "racist", "bigots!".  McCain possibly muttering what a "dirt trick".   Could be interesting to find out, if anyone has a spray can of paint ??

Russian "peacekeepers" have been caught on video camera robbing banks in Georgia! Reports state they are murdering innocent bystanders, shooting at journalist and reports of rape.

"They are then caught making off with what appear to be armfuls of equipment including laptop computers and perhaps even cash. The band of gun-toting men were caught on CCTV forcing their way into the bank in Gori. The outrage took place amid some of the bloodiest fighting in Gori, which is on Georgia’s main east-west highway." (the Sun)

It's past time for the American military to assist our ally Georgia and stop the Russian invasion of a democratic, sovereign country.

The openly 'gay' Democrat Congressman Barney Frank, of the extremely liberal state of Massachusetts, said on CNN:
"
States that do not allow same-sex marriage should not be forced to legally recognize same-sex marriages contracted in California and Massachusetts where the practice is allowed. It’s always been the case that states have had the right to make their own decision on whether or not to allow gay marriage. No supreme or federal court ever said they [states] had to recognize each other’s marriages. Well before DOMA (the Defense of Marriage Act), the principle was settled that states make their own choices.”
Congressman Frank has had huge personal problems in the past, when his "significant other", ran a male prostitute ring out of basement (Frank denied knowing anything about it..... and is selling ocean front property in Las Vegas..... but was re-elected).

Although a proponent for gay marriage, Frank's at least correct on this point. NO other state should be forced by Judges to accept 'gay marriage'. States have the right to make decisions of law. Unfortunately for the country, we have too many misguided judges believing they have the right to makes these decisions for everyone else.

What's really behind Democrat Nancy Polosi's refusal to allow a House vote on drilling for oil in this country?

"HOUSE Speaker Nancy Pelosi recently called congressional Republicans who want up-or-down drilling votes "hand maidens of the oil companies."

Let's call Pelosi what she is: House girl of the Big Wind boondogglers. Which brings us to Pelosi's 2007 financial disclosure form. Schedule III lists "Assets and 'Unearned Income' " of $100,001 to $250,000 from Clean Energy Fuels Corp. - Public Common Stock. Clean Energy Fuels Corp. (CLNE) is a natural-gas provider founded by T. Boone Pickens, the former oilman turned wind-power evangelist.
Let's be real about the limitations and costs of wind power: Experience demonstrates the unreliability of wind and the miserably low operating capacity of wind-power facilities here and around the world. Depending on wind requires supplemental fossil-fuel plants as backup to be turned on and off to compensate for wind-power-supply shortfalls - nullifying any reductions in carbon-dioxide emissions." Michele Malkin / New York Post

So the facts show Democrat Nancy Pelosi, not to be just IN the pocket of Big Wind, but she owns part OF the pocket. I knew she had to have drawn her wealth, fame and power from a lot of hot air. . .  now we see that at least in part, she has.

The Republican Colin Powell is said to speak at the Democrat convention in Denver . . . and endorse the socialist candidate, Obama.

It does appear that some in the 'minority community' see color over politics, moral standards and ideology.   Not really a surprise.

Gold medalist Michael Phelps, who is the American swimming champion, eats 12,000 calories a day.

Phelps' consumes 4,000 calories for every meal.

Breakfast: consists of three fried-egg sandwiches loaded with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, fried onions and mayonnaise. He follows that up with two cups of coffee, a five-egg omelet, a bowl of grits, three slices of French toast topped with powdered sugar and three chocolate-chip pancakes.

Lunch: a pound of enriched pasta and two large ham and cheese sandwiches slathered with mayo on white bread - capping off the meal by chugging about 1,000 calories worth of energy drinks.

Dinner: with a pound of pasta and an entire pizza and 1,000 calories worth of energy drinks.

This is outrageous and proves how gluttonous Americans are! It's no wonder the world hates us!

As if it's not bad enough, we don't speak spanish. French... or Chinese! And this one man eats enough for 10 people?! Is it any wonder that the peeps in Cuba & China are starving to death - he's eating all the food!

Elect my eminence President, and I'll end this very sort of gluttony which embarrasses this "once great" country!!

signed His Greatness, Barack Hussein Obama

Has Barack Hussine Obama been endorsed by the communist party of the U.S. Maybe not in so many words, but when you read their"2008 Election Policy", there's nothing no other conclusion one could draw.

"....... Other Democratic contenders presented some excellent proposals to reverse the devastation caused by the Bush administration’s policies."

"Barack Obama’s campaign has so far generated the most excitement, attracted the most votes, most volunteers and the most money. We think the basic reason for this is that his campaign has the clearest message of unity and progressive change, while having a real possibility for victory in November. As we see it, however, this battle is bigger than the Democrats and Republicans, even though those parties are the main electoral vehicle for most voters today. Our approach is to focus on issues and movements that are influencing candidates and parties. We will work with others to defeat the Republican nominee and to end right-wing control of the new Congress.

We think this election is a great opportunity to bring an early withdrawal of US troops from Iraq. It can mean job creation and relief for those who are losing their homes or unable to pay their bills.

This election can set the stage to advance the interests of working people; of those excluded because of race, gender, sexual orientation and immigration status.

This election can begin to turn the tide: it can help bring universal health care, save the environment and start the restoration of our democratic rights. This election can strengthen democracy for all

Inside the belly of the beast - i.e. an inside view of the phoniness of political campaign and their candidates.

“The Plan,” October 2006
Clinton had forbidden her advisers from openly discussing her presidential ambitions until after she’d won reelection to the Senate. But behind the scenes, planning was already underway. In this October 2006 strategy memo, Mark Penn sketched out the campaign’s strategic principles (“HRC is the power candidate”) and assessed potential opponents. He worried that Al Gore was “waiting to swoop in later.”

Penn Strategy Memo, March 19, 2007
More than anything else, this memo captures the full essence of Mark Penn’s campaign strategy—its brilliance and its breathtaking attacks. Penn identified with impressive specificity the very coalition of women and blue-collar workers that Clinton ended up winning a year later. But he also called Obama “unelectable except perhaps against Attila the Hun,” and wrote, “I cannot imagine America electing a president during a time of war who is not at his center fundamentally American in his thinking and in his values.” Penn proposed targeting Obama’s “lack of American roots.”

The “Kindergarten” Attack, December 2, 2007
On December 2, Clinton exploded at her staff on a morning conference call, frustrated that her campaign wasn’t on the attack. Hours later, in this series of emails, her panicked staff reacted by putting together an ill-advised attack on Obama for having written a kindergarten essay titled “I Want to Become President.”

Penn Strategy Memo for New Hampshire, December 30, 2007
?
On the eve of the Iowa caucus, the race was too close to call. In this memo, Penn ranked the “six potential scenarios coming out of Iowa” in order of preference. The best had Clinton winning and Obama finishing third. The worst-case scenario had Obama on top and Clinton in third—which ended up being the result. Penn laid out options for how the campaign might respond, including attacks on Obama and Edwards.

"Move Your Cars!"
A memo to the entire D.C. staff.
(Wow, who was in HER way)

Letter of Complaint from the Washington Post’s Managing Editor, Philip Bennett, February 11, 2008
The Clinton staff engaged in epic battles with the press. As the campaign’s fortunes worsened, resentment at the press turned into personal attacks against reporters. In this letter to Clinton’s campaign manager, the Washington Post’s managing editor complained that Phil Singer, a senior Clinton spokesman, was spreading malicious—and false—rumors about a Post reporter to one of her own colleagues.

Penn Strategy Memo, March 5, 2008
On the heels of critical wins in Texas and Ohio, Penn continued pushing the ideas of “strength” and “leadership.” He worried that white male voters were “steadily eroding” and railed against the idea of showcasing Clinton’s softer side. “The idea,” he wrote, “that this can be won all on smiles, emotions, and empathy is simply wrong.”

What kind of dog would McCain or Obama have if they were President?, was a question asked on a TV show Sunday morning.
Here are my picks: McC would have the English Bull Dog since he seems to picture himself as a bull/lap dog, imagining himself to be rough, yet cuddly, at the same time. He loves to be a bossy barker but usually end ups sleeping at the feet of the intruder.

Barack Hussein Obama gets the Chinese Crested Hairless: Very pretentious dog with a snooty attitude, yet delicate & sensitive, requiring protection from any the harsh element of real life.

Which dogs do you think these two presidential hopefuls would hope to have!?

"Now that Democrat John Edwards has admitted to his affair with "filmmaker" Rielle Hunter, someone decided to take a better look at the "Webisodes" she made about him for his failed presidential campaign.

Each one uses a theme song at its end by Boyd Tinsley of the Dave Matthews Band. The song is called "True Reflections." It would seem that Edwards and his staff never listened to the lyrics. It's as damning a choice as Hunter could have selected.

The first verse says it all:

When you look into a mirror

Do you like what's looking at you?

Now that you've seen your true reflections

What on earth are you gonna do?

Then again, the rest of the lyrics are even worse — and portentous.

I thought by now you'd be the president

But after all that was yesterday

But you've had time to go out in the world now

But you chose to run away

Well, people ask you what you're doing now

You don't even know what to say

Click here to view four of Hunter's videos.

And then there are the videos themselves. (My) guess is viewership will skyrocket as people try to figure out what was going on between Edwards, a married man, and Hunter

That doesn't sound like a song endorsing the person it's describing. It's an indictment. It's unclear when Hunter put this music on the film." (Foxnews.com)
