What? A 2.0 - heck that's an everyday fart in my house! That shouldn't even be tabulated. And before you comment on my homefront please eat my wife's chili! Yeah, now you know 2.0 does exist.

Do you believe in Santa Claus?

Nobody can predict when an earthquake will occur with any degree of certainty. If they tell you they can, they're lying. Hell, we can't even accurately predict the weather, and that's above surface level!

Chickenkiller, do you remember Iben Browning also. I had some cousins that bought into his BS. I have never laughed harder in my life.
I was in Alaska for a few years. If they can not predict earthquakes there than no one can.
A 4.0 was a common everyday occurence.

i agree with Mommy2 & Chickenkiller, yes thats true we can't predict the weather right and now they r saying tornadoes tomorrow and & Moderate risk in the STL area tomorrow. Now about August a friend told me about that one so we'll have to wait and see you know...

mechany - yep, I remember Iben Browning (not to be confused with John Moses Browning of 1911 fame). All of the lemmings were drinking from his hand, and then when it didn't happen the news media trashed him and almost everyone forgot about him.

Ohmygod! You were stationed at Elmendorf? I hear that is one nasty outpost!

Hey, to change the subject this weekend I went out and got another new item for my collection....a Springfield Armory EMP. I know, its a 9mm, but it is so concealable.

Ah man, Elmendorf is as Dino would say, Frosty.
It is just outside of Anchorage near Cooks inlet. Winter is a bit long, from October thru April, but the summer makes it worth it.
Now Eilison, near Fairbanks, no way in the world would I want to be stationed there. Cold cold in the winter and Hot hot in the summer. Imagine a desert covered with ice, and melting tundra in the summer with mosquitos the size of a F-15. And the smell I can not describe it. Well, maybe like a fridge in a college dorm room times 20.
Was TDY there for the longest month of my life.
Iraq was nicer.

no one can predict the future except our Jesus.
