I know that there are a lot of Republicans out there that are frustrated by McCain's terrible judgment thus far and by his irresponsible ploy to choose Mrs. Palin from Alaska as his VP. I would like to offer my sympathies on this and also offer an alternative.

Your convention has not yet been finalized.

There is still time to avoid the train wreck that is coming.

Add Mike Huckabee's name to the nomination at your convention.

There is still time to fix this and have a candidate with integrity and sound judgment.

Do this and you may just win my vote in November.

I would actually consider it.

Keep the faith Conservatives.
Vote Huckabee!!!!

I like Mike!!!!!

Huckabee '08

I like Mike, too. I did some reading about Sarah today and found her to be quite a good choice. I think the woman part may have the smell of a ploy...but I also think she is solid as a choice. I couldn't have said that yesterday because I had never heard of her.

Mike was my first choice :( but no longer an option.
Sarah has just as much experience as Obama, and she's not running for #1, Obama is...If she was not a female, no one would be comdemning here i don't think. I think people think it's a ploy. honestly i think they are smarter than that. she seems like a good solid sound choice. could there have been others, yes...but she is not a negative i don't think. just take the gender out.

I never liked Mike. He's annoying and smug. I did like Fred Thompson, who I think would end up as Attorney General under McCain. I also think that Romney would head up the Treasury and Huckabee would get Interior or Energy. A president is only as strong as the info he gets from his cabinet.

"As President, my first act is to outlaw the Democratic party and liberalism."

Please vote for me.

NativeTX has my vote!

I think Huckabee was one of the more insightful and intelligent of the bunch. He would be a great choice for a cabinet position such Energy Czar or whatever that position is currently called.

Again with the funnies.
You are a regular comedian. Scotty may get jealous.
=P

Its funny how your party is choosing a vp soley on the basis on gender and yet I am misogynistic.

That is hilarious.

...and dont give me that bull about her so called qualifications... please... that "executive experience" line is such garbage. By that standard, she is more qualified to be president than even your candidate is. Wow. Good thinking there Righties. Hahahaha!

This is an obvious and condescending ploy to get women votes away from Hillary. We all know it. Denying it is stupid... and the public aint as dumb as you guys think they are.

Smooth move there.

McCain had my vote up until I got a Braking New from CNN. What happen to Gov. Mitt Romney! You old fool! The GOP is DOOMED this Fall. Either that, or the United States is DOOMED.
Which is more important? Congratulations President Obama. As of 8/29/08 McCain you just lost my vote .

My name is Cyrus Martin. I live in Euless, Texas along with a bunch of other people. I enjoy a healthy debate now and then as well as a heated discussion. I don't enjoy to argue though and I find it absolutely beyond annoying to see people spread ignorance, hypocrisy, lies and distortions in the guise of truth or Christianity. I am a proud Christian (which is sort of an Oxymoron) and I love God very much. I think most Christians do... unfortunately there are many that will use his name to promote a twisted and evil agenda and guilt any who would seek God's face into following them without question. For too long we have been cowed by this tyrannical Christian terrorism. One of the purposes of my life to help bring this into the light. If we are Christians then we should think about what that means and the responsibility that comes along with that comfortable label. Thanks! I hope we will have some great talks. -Cy
