A 27-year-old man is missing after he jumped off a pontoon boat into the water without a life jacket, according to Grand Prairie Police. Witnesses told police that the man got into the water near Lynn Creek Park to cool off but after a few minutes he seemed to be in distress. Someone on the boat threw a life jacket to him, but he was unable to grab it, according to police. A woman on the boat reportedly jumped in to try and save him but he slipped under the water. The Grand Prairie Fire Department Dive team searched for about 30 minutes without success. While they were searching, another call came in about a swimmer in distress near the Jet Ski Beach at Lynn Creek Park. Witness said that he swam to the no-wake buoy and began asking for help and waving his arms. The man then slipped under the water and didn't come back up. Divers were able to locate him and he was transported to a hospital where doctors were not able to revive him. Neither man's identity has been released.

Accidents happen but when your lake is notorious for drownings, something should be done!

My heart hurts reading a story like this when I think that there is evil in this world, willing to hurt an innocent child an infant none the less. Makes me wish I could had been there to defend this little one...... Then we could had seen how tuff this punk really is!! Give this S.O.B over to me, with a claw hammer and some duct tape I will teach him the real meaning of pain!
The video of the philly officers beating the 3 suspects is not just sickening its a criminal act caught on tape, the officers are playing judge, jury, and executioners... but I have a solution for the incident, lets take all officers involved and one at a time allow all three suspects to beat them!(dont forget the nightstick) Lets call it an out of court settlement!! These officer should be imprisoned for there actions, and the officers watching should be charged as acessories to the crime. The police are here to serve the public, and uphold the law, and by that being said they should be held at a higher standard due to the power they are given. Police brutality is a problem in alot of major citys and there needs to be a special team seperate from the city to investigate alligations and to police the police. If your a bully with a badge and a gun remember that pride comes before the fall........ to the rest of our officers doing your job honestly and truley trying to make a difference in our citys ..God be with you everyday and we truely appreciate your services.
