Sears Supports Homosexual TV Network With Advertising

Two-minute infomercials sponsored explicitly by Sears helps keep the homosexual network on the air.

Sears has thrown its support to the LOGO network. LOGO is the 24-hour cable television network dedicated to programming for lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders according to a homosexual advertising website. It is carried on many cable systems around the country. Many of you have been forced to accept it as part of your cable package. Sears is now helping to make it mainstream!

Sear's advertising will help LOGO air shows like "Sex 2K Drag Kings," "The Gayest and Greatest of 2006," and "Transgeneration."

Sears advertising (two-minute infomercials) will go to help the fledging network get on firm financial ground. Sears advertising is financing LOGO's push to legalize homosexual marriage in addition to promoting the homosexual lifestyle.

Sears is owned by Kmart Corporation.

Take Action
1. Send an email to Sears asking them to cancel their advertising on LOGO.

2. Call your local Sears store and ask why Sears is supporting the homosexual network with its advertising.

3. Forward this email to your friends and family.

Donald E. Wildmon, Founder and Chairman

It can't be any worse than what we see on regular tv anyways. I'd rather see a couple of gay guys in a clean show than what I see on supposedly straight tv shows. There is one new sit-com on Thursday nights that could have been very funny, it's called "Til Death". I've watched it a few times & it is filthy. It's broadcast when most small children are still up & the things they say & talk about are not fit for children.

June, it all boils down to what the parents allow their children to watch. Most program providers offer ratings systems to prevent the kids from watching certain programs, if the parents just take the time to use it. As far as homosexuals attempting to shove their sexual preferences down our throats, they are dead wrong. I never did understand why people want to advertise something personal that should be kept behind closed doors. I don't run around screaming that I'm heterosexual! Why? BECAUSE IT'S MY BUSINESS, and nobody else's. And nobody would care! Maybe people should stop paying so much attention to homosexuals, and maybe they'll realize this is something that should be kept to themselves. I couldn't care less about people like Rosie O'Donnell and Ellen Degeneres "coming out of the closet," and turning their sexual preferences into a circus sideshow. And I DON'T care to see large logos promoting something that should be kept private.

Yes, but my point is that I'd rather see a clean show about a couple of gay guys than say "Til Death" any day. The other point I was trying to make, which maybe I didn't very clearly, was how terrible it is to put on a sit-com at 7 in the evening & then have to turn it right off. In the early days of tv, there was no rating system. All broadcasters considered the fact that the shows were going into everyone's living rooms. And I have yet to have a homosexual person shove their preference down my throat. My oldest daughter has some gay friends at school & none of them do that either. But it's funny how plenty of these marriage shows seem to focus only on 1 aspect of marriage, in very explicit ways. I'm no prude & I'm no stick in the mud, but I will maintain I would rather see a clean show about a couple of gay men or women than a "straight" show that is filthy.

well to me if you watch a show that has something you don't support, like a gay lifestyle then you are as good as giving them your support..you don't like one show because of what they talk about yet you wouldn't mind watching a show that is teaching our children its ok to have that kind of lifestyle.. thats what they want....make it funny and it's ok..

What one does behind closed doors should stay there. It is none of our business what they do and to judge them is not our job.
Right or wrong, we should not condem them for their choices.
The Corperations with the commercials are just making a buck off those who watch those chanels.
If you let your kids watch something you disapprove of, then it is your fault.
Kids make light of smoking weed and drinking. That does not make it ok, but they will still do it. You can't protect your children from everything. All you can do is hope that you have instilled in your children the values and morality that you believe in and hope they stay on the path you put them on. Not that the path you put them on was the right one in the first place.

But June, you are right, "Straight" shows are more likely to show nudity, violence, and sexuality than a "Non-Straight" show. "Straight" shows (on public broadcast) degrade the morals and values of this country far more than the "Non-Straight" shows (on cable stations) do.

So what if they support gays. Does that affect YOUR marriage any? Does watching a show involving gays suddenly make you want to become one? What gays do in their own homes is THEIR business not yours, mine, or anyone elses. If you don't like shows involving gays, or channels about gays, or movies with a gay theme, then guess what....DON'T WATCH THEM. That's your right. There are PLENTY of non-gay things you can watch. YOu enjoy your straight viewing and activities, and let them enjoy their gay viewing and activities. If you don't agree with their lifestyle, then don't become gay and you won't have to live their lifestyle.

I am just putting the info out there,, I don't support that type of lifestyle,,and I don't watch those shows...and if you read the bible you would know that,, their activities are taking them to hell and they need to know that....

Be careful there, you may be speaking of someone's family member.

Whether or not we agree with their lifestyle, we are not to judge them. God will judge them. And as far as I know and understand, God is forgiving and God will have the final say so as to who will make it past the gates of Heaven.

Very well put Shell.
Dolphin, what makes you assume I haven't read the Bible. As Shell put so well, it's not up to YOU to judge others or their lifestyle. It's not up to YOU to let them know they may or may not be going to Hell. You think anyone would CHOOSE that lifestyle. Anyone would choose to be ridiculed, to be "damned to Hell", to be discriminated against, to be hated by people who "don't support their type of lifestyle". Worry about yourself and lot God sort everything out.

Dolphinchic,

Do you eat shell fish?

Is there anything in your bible about judging others?

Just a couple of thoughts on this...

making this info know is exactly what you should do if it is important to you. Getting the government to do something about it is absolutely the wrong thing to do (not that anyone here has).

This is what the free-market system is all about. If a company is doing something you don't like, boycott them (don't violate their rights by trespassing on their property or slandering them, etc).

If enough people agree with you the company will change it's ways. If not, you will be left out on your own to find some other crusade to rail.

I would think "gay haters" would prefer the gays to have their own channel, or two (they have Bravo, too), so that they aren't whining to the networks to provide programming specifically for them.

Well stated Gray.

Phil, thank you for the comment and support, but no need to jump on Dolphin so harshly. She has her views and that is ok. Ours differ, but we cannot judge her either.

Dolphin, thank you for allowing us to post on your blog. Don't be too upset at the replies you get, many people have stong views on this subject, both for and against. Not that anyone is wrong either.
We all read the "same" Bible, but we all interpret the words differently. What you view as a reason for going to hell if you are gay, I myself have never seen where the Bible states such a thing. You can quote me the verse, and still, I may not see it the way you do.

well I will have to look that up and I am running late,, but the one I know off the top of my head is.. 1 Corin 6:9-10,,, and Matt 19: 1-6,, And Gray ,,yes there is.. I will look it up and let you decide,, you are suppose to Love the person not the sin.. judge the sin not the person I will say more when I get back..

How do we know gay people are going to hell? How do we know if a heterosexual Christian who believes in marriage & attends church regularly is going to Heaven? There is a Jimmy Swaggart Christian living next door to me. She puts crosses in her yard at Easter & tells everyone what a great Christian she is, yet she sets out poison for animals, killed several pets & has lied about it. I'll bet you a cookie that woman truly believes she's on her way to Heaven. I think she's in for a surprise when a crowd of gay men get in ahead of her.

And on top of the gay men getting in ahead of this woman, this lady will probably watch a crowd of prostitutes, people who are "living in sin", lesbians, drug addicts, & welfare recipients, not to mention all the children she's given a hard time to & then after all of them get in, she'll have to watch the parade of animals, especially the ones she's killed.

It's true,, Jesus dewelled among the sinners,, as a Christian you are suppose to correct the brother that is backsliding,,, And yes there will be alot of people who think that they are going to heaven,,, Only God knows who is going and who isn't...God knows the heart,,,And I wouldn't want to be the one to have to make that call..But to make it to heaven you have to believe that Christ died for your sins,,,that he was resurrected,,, And you have to repent of your sins,,, And God's word is where you learn what God says is a sin,,,, yes there will be gays, drug addicts, prostitues who will make it into heaven,, when they accept Jesus Christ as their savior... All men have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,, Romans 3:34

Thank you Dolphin for the update there. You are a wise and strong woman. Don't deter from your path, it sounds like you are on the right one.
"As a Christian you are suppose to correct the brother that is backsliding" I agree completely. But, if you correct and they refuse your help or guidance..well, you can only do so much. We can only hope that they see the "right" way before the end.

My apologies if I came off beligerant yesterday. I never mean to, but sometimes it is read that way.

I Thank God I was born in this free country,, But I am sadden by the fact that so many are letting this Land of the Free and Home of the Brave slowly slip through our fingers just to be so called politically correct. Our Fore Fathers would be insulted and appalled at the way we are letting our country be run into the ground..Now about me,,I will be married 21 yrs this Sept, I have a 14yr old son and a 17 yrs old daughter, I am from Dallas, grew up in Galveston, Might be where I get my love of the Dolphins from. I Love my Lord and Savior and give Him Thanks everyday, for choosing me.
