I have come to the realization that my car is a purse. One giant sized purse. Or a toy box. Or a black hole.

I opened the door to retrieve cat litter I had in the back cargo. I then spotted a flannel jacket. And a boy's shirt. And toys...lots and lots of toys.

So maybe my car isn't a purse, but a toy box and closet.

After I dropped the cat litter in the house, I went back to the car. I pulled out 2 large bags full of toys. Toys that my son brought from home to play with at Grandma's house on Thanksgiving. THANKSGIVING!!! On the floorboard was my son's toy from Christmas. I think he forgot he had that new toy until yesterday.

I also came across 2 flannel jackets, 1 boy's shirt and a towel. So maybe my car is a closet.

Upon further excavation of my car, I found many ancient artifacts...little coins that we know of as money. Lots and lots of little coins! So maybe my car is a bank or one giant piggybank.

I usually keep it clean, but sometimes I find myself hurried and harried. Things get thrown back there and forgotten. Like a black hole. To be sucked into the back seats never to be found again until an accidental glance notices them.

Cars...more than vehicles, they can make very nice storage too!

I come across some interesting stuff on this highway called the internet. Came across this site and was wondering what ya'll thought about it. Testing a link...if it doesnt work, go to: http://www.platewire.com/

PlateWire: CLICK HERE

I'll give my 0.02 cents. One, I think it's such a huge invasion of privacy. We all get ticked off on the roads. But would any of you take it farther than just being ticked? Would you go to these extremes? OTOH, do you think having a public avenue on the internet is a good way to go to vent your frustrations at the guy who cut you off? Or the girl who didn't use her turning signal? I don't think this site is safe. I think it is meant to do more harm than good. With all the wackos we have to live with on our planet, do we really need ANOTHER avenue to set them off? And possible endanger our safety and lives? What do YOU think?

Show your kids on CHRISTmas Eve, they can see where Santa has been and where he is heading. It has a countdown clock on it now, but bookmark it. ENJOY!

I am loving the "snow"! I didn't grow up in an area where it snowed. We had to go to Tahoe to see snow.

I took some pictures of the snow. I took a couple of really up close pictures on the hood of my car. It looks like little crystal balls!

I opened my mouth and let the snow fall in my mouth. I feel like a little kid! I feel like I have been deprived my whole life of this fun white stuff!

I'm going to pick up my son from school, and see if we can scrape enough to build a snowman.

Even though driving in it may suck, try to enjoy it. Let the little kid at heart come out and play!

I think it's wonderful weather. The great thing about it is it's temporary. We won't have to shovel drive-ways for months. I just LOVE IT!!!

Good grief. Look how much this PS3 is going for on ebay. There's 2 minutes left and it's over 6,000 dollars now.

I cannot believe people go through this every year with the hot items they put out in November. I'll get this in quite a few years when the price goes down considerably.

One minute left and it's now 76oo. US $9,101.00 Just ended with US $9,101.00 Holey Moley. Look how much it jumped in 2 MINUTES!!!

People are nuts. Absolutely nuts! I love games, but not crazy enough to pay that much for it.

Wow! Just blown away...

Listening to the news earlier about the three year old found walking around the streets, I was just dumbfounded at the stupidity of some people. It was said the mother left the child with a cousin who was sleeping. The cousin didn't know he/she was to look after the child.

So ding-dong mom just leaves the child to go shopping @@

This is fast becoming a pet peeve of mine. Here's why...

Today for instance, a child next door came over to play with my son. That's all fine and dandy. This child then goes next door to play with the other kids. My son went as well. I know the parents of all kids involved.

I KNOW my son is over there playing at their house. I had one parent come over and ask for his child. He was told that they went next door to play with the other kids. This child was told by both my husband and I to ask the grandmother so they KNOW WHERE SHE IS. The child obviously did not. So the parent was upset because his child was over there and not here like she was supposed to be.

Another situation happened last weekend. There is a little boy my son knows. He isn't in the same class but they are friends. My son always asks if he can come over and play. I met the dad ONE TIME, we talked for less than 5 minutes. He dropped his son off for an hour of play. He didn't even come into my home. I don't know this man from Adam. And he doesn't know me from Eve.

It just irks me how people can hand over kids to virutal strangers and not even give a second thought.

Obviously, we aren't child molestors or predators. We aren't murderers or bad people. I don't mind having kids over to play. It just concerns me a great deal that parent's just aren't vigilant enough.

We are strict with our son. He is NOT to go outside alone. And he is to ask if he can play at someone else's house. When he does go play elsewhere, I make sure to talk to the parent first. I know my neighbor, known them for as long as we have been here. But I make sure to walk him over there and back each time.

It disturbs me to see kids my son's age roaming the streets. It irks me that paren't aren't more watchful or observant.

I am just dumbfounded at the stupidity of some people.

If you can't keep track of your kids, keep em at home! FGS, they are precious, treat them like they are!

I meant to post this yesterday, but time got away from me.

So yesterday, I was talking to Mumsie on the phone. I love our weekly chats :-) But anyhoo, I'm sitting on the couch and it was very quiet in the house.

All of a sudden, I hear a burst of thunderous screaming! I get up and look out the window. I tell Mumsie to hold on a sec, I open my backdoor and ask her if she could hear the screaming? I hold the phone out towards the noise. She said she could hear it and asked what was going on.

The past week at my son's school has been "Stomp Out Drugs" week. All the kids and teachers were told to wear red. So there was a sea of red as the entire school stood outside. And then they released red balloons. It was quite a remarkable sight to see...AND HEAR!!!

Enter your first and last names to find out how many with the same name live in the US.

There are 299,968,595 people in the United States of America. If everyone in the U.S. lined up single file, the line would stretch around the Earth almost 7 times. That's a lot of people.

The U.S. Census Bureau statistics tell us that there are at least 88,799 different last names and 5,163 different first names in common use in the United States. Some names are more common than others.

There are 49,535 people named John Smith in the United States. There are 1,048 people named James Bond, 113 people named Harry Potter , 503 people named George Bush, and 31 people named Emily Dickinson. However, Johnny Cash (39 people) songs aside there are, statistically speaking, no boys named Sue.

What about you? How many people share your name? Enter it and find out how many of you there are.

Usually I would be watching Grey's Anatomy right now. But I am watching the Mavs game instead.

I have to say that I NEVER liked basketball. Never interested me. I liked baseball, still do. I have many memories of going to Candlestick park and watching the A's and Giants.

But when the Mavs made it to the finals, I got soo hooked. I watched every game. I loved every minute of it. And even though they lost the championship, got a little too jump-shot happy, I still love the game. I feel like I have been deprived my whole life lol.

Can't wait for the season to officially start :-)
