I have come to the realization that my car is a purse. One giant sized purse. Or a toy box. Or a black hole.

I opened the door to retrieve cat litter I had in the back cargo. I then spotted a flannel jacket. And a boy's shirt. And toys...lots and lots of toys.

So maybe my car isn't a purse, but a toy box and closet.

After I dropped the cat litter in the house, I went back to the car. I pulled out 2 large bags full of toys. Toys that my son brought from home to play with at Grandma's house on Thanksgiving. THANKSGIVING!!! On the floorboard was my son's toy from Christmas. I think he forgot he had that new toy until yesterday.

I also came across 2 flannel jackets, 1 boy's shirt and a towel. So maybe my car is a closet.

Upon further excavation of my car, I found many ancient artifacts...little coins that we know of as money. Lots and lots of little coins! So maybe my car is a bank or one giant piggybank.

I usually keep it clean, but sometimes I find myself hurried and harried. Things get thrown back there and forgotten. Like a black hole. To be sucked into the back seats never to be found again until an accidental glance notices them.

Cars...more than vehicles, they can make very nice storage too!

Fret, you can say that again. Our car is a storage closet for groceries we can't fit in the Apt. As we need them we go out and fetch them out of the car.

I can picture your goods neatly stacked and organized. I was just stunned by all the stuff I had in there. Sheesh!

Boy Oh Boy you have got to be kidding! There's bags in the trunk, the back seat(floor board). We just got back from shopping in anticipation of next weeks snow fall(Yeah Right, Evan)and there's even more stuff in the car then there was yesterday.Of course my wife hopes it snows up a Giraff's butt, but that'll never happen here in North Texas.

ROFL! My hubby's car is that way. I never want to put my jacket on his back seat out of fear it will be sucked into some sort of vehicular abyss.

I've seen it happen! The abyss can't have my jacket!!

My car, on the other hand, is treated as if it is a priceless piece of art. I have welcome matts in the garage. I park so that when you get in or out, you have to step on a matt... and who (besides kids) doesn't see a welcome matt and immediately wipe their feet? LOL It's helped keep the floors clean on my side of the car.

I did find a Santa hat in the seat pocket. I have no idea how that got there! I'm blaming the dog. He was the last one to get in my car wearing a Santa hat! Besides, he gets blamed for everything anyway, right? ;)

ROFL I did! He barked and howled in a way I have never seen or heard before. It made me howl along in laughter! (he's so funny)

Hubby calls him my poor poochie, too. Every time I dress him (the dog, not hubby) in funny clothes or make him put his seat belt on in the car, hubby says, "Oh Poor Poochie. I'm sorry little fella'"

Shelby, you are so much like my Dad! He's got a pooch that can't stand to have Dad leave with out her. He named her "Miss Higgins". Why that name I have no idea.

My truck isnt a storage bld, it is a dog limo. My dog has to go everywhere I do. Pillow on the console, drink in the cup holder, carrier on top of two plastic tubs so she can see out the window and lots of toys pillows etc to lay on.Dogs bag, extra water bottles, leash, etc.
She is the reason for the Crew Cab-she is the "crew"!LOL

Gosh I thought I was the only one who used their vehicle for "storage". It seems that the back seat of my truck always has a box or crate that either needs to be taken to school, or brought home from school. There's always a coat or jacket, just in case I break down and it's actually cold in northest Texas. (It seems that menopausal women don't actually WEAR a coat or a jacket!) It's become a joke when we go anywhere on the spur of the moment.....my husband says, "Why bother packing, it's probably already in the truck" Sad isn't it?

I must admit that my car is my suitcase as well and on some days the extra junk I haul around ends up in the chopper as well! Great analogy fretfall!

Mine is turning into the garage. Behind the seat there's the heavy duty jumper cables. (I usually find someone who needs a jump), pouch of tools. I know any man will be able to repair a truck engine with a screw driver, hammer and duct tape! Paper towels and windex when and if I ever do stop at the car wash. Lastly my dive log book. I may decide to dive the Trinity while stuck in traffic some day.

fretfall writes: I never want to get in my husban's truck PERIOD! He works in construction and it is so dusty it's like you are in a fog! I've cleaned it out for him...but a day later it is in the same condition. Can't breath or see in it lol. PLUS, it has NO working AIR, heat works but the AIR does not, miserable in the summer. Stifling {cough couch}
