Those houses are located on one of the most drastic cut-banks of Fossil Creek. First of all those houses should have never been built! Secondly, the homeowner should have done their homework and discovered that any sizable rain will cause any waterway to cut into the side on which they live, the cut-bank side. It is not necessarily the city's fault, or the government's fault. The developer should have never built those houses, but the homeowner is the one that is ultimately responsible for buying in a flood plain and on the cut-bank side. Buyer is the one that should have done the homework!!!!!!!!!
