Did anyone see Obama on "The View" on  Friday?   I haven't had the computer until now, so I am just now catching up.  I did watch this, I wasn't going to, and then I thought--well, my curiosity got the better of me.

First, he was inconsistent in his answers.  He was still trying to make excuses for his minister and church choice.  He really skirted the direct answer--seems he is good at that [gee a bit like  Bill Clinton ]

Secondly, any person in a leadership position who can't look an audience straight in the eye doesn't get my vote.  Watch him--he has a shifty eye about him, and that really bothers me.

I know now after watching him with the --for a change- polite women on The View --on Friday that I can't vote for him.

There are so many issues facing us in the next four years, and maybe leaving Iraq will happen, but it is something to be done with caution--leaving an open possibility of that part of the world exploding isn't a good idea either.

The economy needs help!  I am not sure that Obama, or Clinton or even McCain will be the key--I think that will come from a good strong cabinet, the citizens of this great country, a bit of struggle and as normal, hard work,  not just one man, or woman.

Immigration--the gates have been open for so long now, that they won't be easy to close.

Health care--hmmmm--do you really want to wait for 2-3 months to see a doctor only to wait another lengthy period of time for an emergancy proceedure--or to be told--sorry you don't qualify??  Yes, we need something more affordable in the way of health care--but heh--it needs to start with the pharmesutical companies, the hospitals that over charge for everything [and believe me, I know about that one].  Insurance companies themselves need to make a huge move to make insurance affordable for all of us--with a reasonable cost without having to have such high deductables that no one can afford to have anything done.  At least there is some kind of a move towards the affordable generic prescriptions.

I don't think either of the Democratic candidates is ideal, but Obama has gone down a notch in my personal opinion poll.

And Hilly's blatant lie? That was NOT misspeaking. Neither Dem is qualified to hold any office. McC.... ugh. No great candidate on either side!

I watched Obama cleverly dodge a question some time ago about the house he bought..NEVER answered the question ..but what made me the maddest was the questioner didn't press him for an answer ..

You're probally right about that, DG... lib media rarely presses the Dems on much. But, now that they're in the tank for the Bomer, Hilly is getting a small taste of what Republicans get. lol

I hate it when politicians DODGE answering questions... I wouldn't let them! Occasionally I see Chris Wallace NOT let them get away with that (Sun. morning show)

I have never trusted Obama for some reason....just don't.....can't but my finger on what it is....overall I like him...as a person...he seems like he truly does want to change things....I just don't think he can....

He just seems a little TOO slick....more so than your run of the mill politician....

ever have one of those "gut feelings"???.....I have one when I see him....it bothers me....but I can't shake it....

ted-mania I have that same feeling about Obama...something is not quite right...I think his wife is NOT an asset..she scares me too..what is her agenda? I think Obama'a wife "listened" too well to Wright... I read parts of her senior thesis...how has this all happened? I occassionally watch Chris Wallace when I remember and he just drills it in...

Both democrats have a hard time with the truth, but that all gets thrown under the rug by most of the press.
This isn't like someone running for class president, we are voting for the Leader of the "free world" a leader of the world stage. And truly, to elect someone who can't look a person straight in the eye with an answer is scary. Maybe if he doesn't have his tela prompter in front of him, then he can't talk comfortably??? OR he can't think for himself with truthful answers.

I know one thing for sure I'm not voting for his a**, never liked him at all for any reason. I can't believe that some people are so taken aback by him, like he's some kind of God or something. And on the issue of creating jobs, none of them can create jobs if the jobs aren't there in the first place. What are they gonna do pull them out of their a**es! Just my opinion.
