            A woman was calmly sitting in her living room reading the Bible when all of the sudden, a burglar broke through her kitchen window. The frightened woman screamed and shouted Acts 2:38 (repent and be baptized in the name of Christ for the forgiveness of your sins) at the intruder, who froze in fear at the exclamation.

            Later, a policeman that had arrived on the scene after the woman had called was questioning the burglar. He  asked "she just said a Bible verse, why did you freeze?". "Why wouldn't I", he replied, "she had an axe and 2 38's!!!"

The Lord works in mysterious ways, doesn't he? LOL
